Authors note: Okay I had like a really hard time coming up with ideas and events for this chapter, so I apologize if it’s a bit bad. I was gonna make it two parts but then I changed my mind at the last moment, because it turned out to be really, really long. So yeah, I hope you enjoy this! (:
Guys its Christmas!! I’m so excited! Not. This is not the way I wanted to spend my Christmas. I’m basically a prisoner in Kevin’s house. Like what the fuck?! I never approve of this. I thought it was going to go nice and smoothly but no, I ended up being questioned by Al. Fuck my life. I want to go call Jenny. I haven’t spoken to her ever since… well I don’t know, I just really want to go talk to her. Then I’ll call him.
“Hey Jay!”
“Hey Jenny, uh I gotta ask you a question.”
“What’s up?”
“Um, was it hard when you first met Blemish boys’ dad?”
“It was at first, but it was completely fine when Cody calmed him down and whatnot. Why is it hard meeting Sharp’s dad?”
“Sharp? What the hell where have you been? I’m dating Kevin.”
“What do you mean, where have I been?! You haven’t called me! So don’t get all smart Jay.”
“Okay, okay. That’s true. But can you give your loving cousin some advice?”
“Just be yourself. If Kevin’s parents don’t like you, he’s going to have to deal with it.”
“Yeah you’re probably right. Thanks Jenny!”
“You’re very welcome! But wait… when are you coming?”
“Tomorrow.”
“Great! Everyone is going to be excited you’re coming back!”
“What the hell for? I was practically mean to everyone.”
“Well I don’t know. Just go have fun. Merry Christmas!”
“Bah humbug.”
“Ugh, joy killer.”
“Yeah I know. Bye!” then I hanged up the phone, but I called someone again.
“Hello?” Corey answered.
“You said you had a surprise for me?”
“Oh yeah, that’s not like till later, like around 4-ish.”
“But it’s 5 in the morning… I have to wait that long for a present?”
“Yes. That’s the time he has opened.”
“He?”
“Like I said, it’s a surprise.” And then Corey hanged up.
“Rude…”
I went downstairs all excited and shit because I knew no one is going to be up. Well my excitement was ruined. Fucking Luke and Trevor was watching Game 7. Like what the fuck… I don’t want to see that.
“Ha-ha Burrows slayed that dragon.” Luke laughed.
“Morning sunshine.” Trevor smiled.
“Don’t talk to me.” I rolled my eyes.
“Damn, Kevin never said she was grumpy in the mornings…” Trevor mumbled to Luke.
“Well guess what, he probably never told you that I have awesome hearing. Do you not see what the fuck you’re watching!?” Oh my god, I never knew I was this pissed. Where the hell did all this angry come from?
“Whoa, what’s your problem?” Luke asked.
“Nothing, just leave me alone.” I said, and then stormed out the room. But both, Luke and Trevor stopped me.
“No, no, give me that. You’re not getting drunk at 5 in the morning.” Luke glared.
“Get off of me! Kevin!”
“Calm the hell down! What the hell is going on with you?!” Luke asked.
“You really want to know?! It has been about 2 months since I was fucking injured; it’s been about a few weeks now since Kevin and I have gotten back together. But you really want to know what the hell is going on?! I have fucking feelings for a goalie. Now leave me the hell alone!” then I really left the living room and just ran outside, in the freezing cold.
I swear either I’m having a really bad morning or people just love to piss me off. It’s not natural that I get this mad. I really don’t know. I want to go to Tim Horton’s. I’m really hungry. As of right now, I regret moving to Canada.
~~~ Kevin’s POV ~~~
“What the hell?”
I woke up this morning, well little after 5:39 and Jamila wasn’t in bed. So I kinda figured she was downstairs trying to make peace with my dad.
“Where’s Jamila?” I asked Luke.
“She left.” He said.
“Where the hell did she go? She doesn’t know anywhere around Ontario!” I groaned.
“She got mad and then left.” Trevor shrugged.
“Mad about what?” I asked.
“Something about some goaltender.” Trevor said.
“Wait so… Jamila got mad about a goaltender then left?” I cocked my head.
“No, no, Listen dumbass, she said that she had feelings for some goaltender. It was probably that Blackhawks one.” Luke explained.
“Wow. You’re really stupid.” Trevor mumbled.
“What the hell!” I shouted then ran upstairs and grabbed my phone.
I called her but it keeps getting disconnected. What the hell can she be doing right now? I really can’t believe she’s having feelings for that rookie goalie. Haven’t we been through enough already? This is just unbelievable.
~~~ My POV ~~~
“Why are you outside in the freezing cold crying?” Taylor asked.
“I can’t take it anymore. Kevin’s dad hates me, I’m having feelings for Corey all of a sudden, and I miss home. I don’t want to be here.”
“I fucking doubt it. Trevor or Luke probably already blurted it out.”
“I don’t think so. But just go back to the house and run up to your room and Skype with those Blackhawks lovers.”
“I rather not do that. Well the running part.”
“Fine let Bieksa and his brothers stop you in the middle of your tracks to start asking you questions.”
“Okay fine I’ll speed walk.”
“Good luck babes. I gotta go. Opening presents! Merry Christmas!”
“Bah humbug.”
“Whatever Jamila.” Taylor laughed then hanged up.
I really don’t want to go back to the house. I know for a feeling Trevor and/or Luke said something. I bet you Kevin thinks I’m cheating. I really didn’t go far… I’m just sitting next to the car. Yes, next to the car. I didn’t want to go in because that takes too much work and I really didn’t want to do all of that. But anyway, I snuck through the back door because Kevin said there’s an extra key under the step. So I just quickly opened the door and ran upstairs. No one heard me. I’m surprised actually. But you know… if Kevin’s upstairs I’m screwed. He’s going to start yelling at me. I can actually feel it. When I opened the door, Kevin was in the shower, I guess getting ready. I can’t believe it’s seven in the morning…. It feels like five in the afternoon. I don’t know a lot of events happened this morning. I quickly went back into bed and curled up in a ball. I really wasn’t having a good day at all.
“Where were you?” Kevin asked coming out the shower.
“Outside.”
“Why?”
“Because I wanted to be outside! Is that a fucking crime now?!” I shouted.
“Seriously babe, something is wrong with you. Luke and Trevor told me what happened this morning.”
“Of course they did.” I mumbled.
“If you don’t want to be with me just say it.” Kevin said, getting really mad.
“No I’m not saying that! Listen to me, I’m not going to lie to you, yes I like Crawford. No I’m NOT going to leave you. I really want us to work. Later on today, like around four, my friend is picking me up. Because I really don’t want to be here right now.” I said.
“Wait, you’re leaving?” Kevin asked.
“No, I’m not leaving; I’m just going with her to get something to drink or whatever.” I shrugged.
“Fine it’ll help get you away from the stress, have fun. Just don’t do anything stupid, Canadians aren’t really that nice to Americans. Some are, but not all.” Kevin said.
“Oh wonderful.” I rolled my eyes.
“Come on. I think they are starting to open presents.” Kevin said taking my hand.
But I didn’t budge.
“What is it now?” Kevin sighed.
“I don’t want to go.” I pouted.
“Just ignore my dad. He’ll get over it. If I can, then he can.” Kevin said.
“Excuse me what? You were mad that I was dating a Hawks player?!” I gasped.
“No. Just forget about it. Come on.” Kevin said taking my hand.
“Ugh.” I groaned rolling my eyes.
As we started going downstairs, everyone was staring at me. Like did I have something in my teeth or something? Why the fuck are you staring at me?! I sped walk over the corner and at there. I was like in my own little world right now. I really want my iPod but I left it upstairs… smart me.
“Whose ready to open up presents?!” Angela jumped.
Angela started handing out presents to everyone and I didn’t even get one yet. There’s about 45-50 presents underneath that tree and I haven’t gotten one yet. That’s a sign. This years Christmas is really not my year. Can it be New Year’s already?
“These three are for you.” Angela said handing them to me.
“Oh shocker.” I said with a fake smile.
“Don’t be surprised if there’s coal.” Al mumbled.
“Al, leave the poor girl alone.” Angela glared. “Who are they from dear?”
“Kevin, Kat and Sarah. Wait when did Kat and Sarah send these?” I asked Kevin.
“Those been here for a while.” Luke said.
“Don’t talk to me.” I glared.
“Well excuse me…” Luke said rolling his eyes.
“It’s Christmas, lighten up a bit Jamila.” Trevor suggested.
“I rather not.” I said.
“You. Kitchen. Now.” Kevin ordered.
I just sighed, getting up and walked over to the kitchen. “What?”
“Why are you being so rude?”
“I am not being rude.”
“Um yes you are.”
“No I’m not.”
“Don’t start being childish right now. We have two more days here. Tough it out.” Kevin said.
“No, technically, you have 2 days, I leave tomorrow.” I mumbled.
“Why do you leave tomorrow?” Kevin raised his eyebrow.
“Because, I have to finish up my career. Triple H is taking me out my contract.” I shrugged.
“WHY?!” Kevin shouted, but I kept shushing him.
“Babe, this is my second injury, and plus I failed a wellness test thingy months ago.” I pouted.
“You failed a what?! Are you taking steroids??!” Kevin asked, being all judgmental and shit.
“No! You KNOW I don’t do those. I hate needles or whatever you use for that. But come on, I’ll be back like around next week. Wait! Come with me! Just to my pay-per view. Please?” I asked.
“I don’t know. Okay, after my game tomorrow, I’ll ask coach. But if he says no, I’ll just watch it in the locker room. I mean your diva matches aren’t even long so, yeah.” Kevin said.
“That’s offensive!” I shouted slapping his arm.
“I’m joking, I’m joking,” Kevin laughed “Now, come on. Be nice.”
“Whatever.” I rolled my eyes.
“Is everything okay?” Angela asked.
“Everything is fine mom. Go open your presents.” Kevin said to me.
“I don’t want too.” I mumbled.
“Why?!” Luke glared.
“Because I feel like Kat put a stink bomb or some shit in my box.” I rolled my eyes.
“Hey, watch your mouth.” Kevin said.
“I doubt it. Just go open it.” Angela laughed.
But I wanted to open up Kat’s last. Who knows what could be in there. Little evil child. I opened Kevin’s gift first. Nothing major, all it was, was just a Canucks sweatshirt with his number and ‘Jammy’ written on the back. BUT WAIT! It was a pretty big box so there’s more like on the bottom.
“Babe what else do you have in here?” I asked him.
“Just look. It wasn’t only me who put stuff in there.” Kevin said looking at Luke and Trevor.
“Watch it be like coal or something.” I laughed.
But it wasn’t. I was rather embarrassed.
“Baby clothes? Um why do I have baby clothes?” I cocked my head.
“Yeah WHY DOES she have baby clothes!?” Al asked really mad.
“We want a baby niece or nephew!” Luke said.
“Seriously? Is he being serious?” I glared.
“Yeah, I want a kid.” Kevin shrugged.
“You know what; we’ll talk about that later.” I shook my head.
“Speaking of talking! I heard you still love a goaltender.” Al said to me.
“Dad, not now.” Kevin said.
“No, I don’t want her leaving you for a stupid rookie!” Al shouted.
“SHUT UP! Shut up already! Yes, I have feelings for Crawford; NO I’m not leaving Kevin for him. I’m not stupid! Now if you’re gonna keep judging me for my past or for the mistakes I’ve made, you got another thing coming. Stop judging me! I’ve had enough! Only 24 hours of meeting you and you’re already being so rude to me.”
“See Kevin, she’s a keeper.” Al nodded.
“What is he talking about?” Angela asked.
“Jamila passed.” Luke nodded his head.
“What are you talking about?!” I uttered.
“I wanted to see how much you really cared about my son. And you really proved it.” Al laughed.
“That’s not funny. I don’t find you funny. Did you know about this?!” I asked Kevin.
“Um… no.” Kevin shook his head.
“Wow… okay um, I’m going to go talk to my friends now.” I said, trying to figure out what the hell just happened.
“Are you still leaving at 4?” Kevin asked.
“Yes.” I said running upstairs and quickly logging on to Skype. Sarah was on so yeah, I called her.
“Hey Jammy!” Sarah smiled.
“Hey, uh, Sarah.” I said.
“What’s up with you?” She asked.
“Kevin’s dad and brothers played a joke on me and it really wasn’t funny.” I pouted.
“Oh cheer up! It’s Christmas Jammy!” Sarah cheered.
“Bah humbug.” I rolled my eyes.
“Bitch say ‘Bah humbug’ again, I will slap you.” Sarah glared.
“You can’t slap me through a screen dumbass.” I laughed.
“I do want I want!” Sarah rolled her eyes.
“Badass alert.” I laughed.
“Russian badass!” Sarah stuck her tongue out.
“Ha-ha, your webcam zoomed into your forehead.” I busted out laughing.
“NO!” Sarah said quickly zooming out.
“Memories.” I laughed.
“I want bangs so fucking bad.” Sarah glared.
“Are you eating a candy cane?!” I gasped.
“Yes I am actually! Watermelon flavored!”
“I got blueberry! Oh speaking of candy, I have… I have this ‘date’ with Crawford.” I said with air quotes.
“OH REALLY NOW?!” Kat said jumping in front of the camera.
“Damn, I thought you weren’t going to be here…” I rolled my eyes.
“Well you thought wrong!” Kat smiled flaunting her ring.
“Why the fuck do you have a diamond ring on your finger?” I cocked my head.
“Because I’m Mrs. Katrina Kane.” Kat smiled.
“Ew that’s nasty.” I gagged.
“Hey! Be happy for her.” Sarah said.
“I rather not. She’s marrying the guy who slapped me.” I glared.
“I don’t care! Did you open our presents?” Kat asked.
“No. did you open my presents?!” I smiled.
“Nope! What about we open them together?! Go get them.” Sarah said to Kat.
“Ugh rude.” Kat laughed.
Kat gave Sarah her present and I just realized the boxes looked kind of the same. I’m actually waiting on Sarah to open her present. I spent like A LOT of money on her present.
“OH. MY. GOD! Jammy… I LOVE YOU!” Sarah squealed.
“You’re very welcome.” I smiled.
“Dude those pumps are like over 6,000 dollars how the hell did you afford that?!?” Kat gasped.
“I used some of my wrestling salary, and got them. It’s more like an apology present. You know, from all the drama that happened in Canada. No biggie.” I shrugged.
“When you come back, we are going to the club and I am wearing these!” Sarah jumped.
“I don’t know about that...” I sighed.
“Wait why?!” Kat gasped.
“I’m leaving Canada tonight to go to Virginia for the Slammies, and then too Baltimore for TLC.” I explained.
“I thought you were out your contract already?” Kat asked.
“No not yet. After TLC then I’ll be done. Officially. I’m going to hate it, but at least I‘ll be away from people I hate the most.” I shrugged.
“Like who?” Sarah asked.
“Like my boss, Cody and other people.” I said.
“Oh my god.” Kat gasped.
“What?”
“You said Cody’s name…” Kat whimpered.
“Whatever Kat,” I laughed “I’m gonna go take a nap.”
“But it’s like, 6:23 in the morning. Why are you taking a nap?” Sarah asked.
“Being I feel like taking a nap. People have been yelling and I really want to be refreshed for my ‘date’ with Crawford.” I said.
“Stop with the fucking air quotes. We all know you want to date Corey. Just admit it.” Kat glared.
“I don’t want to date Crawford! Now goodbye.” I rolled my eyes.
As I was about to take my nap, Kevin walked in with tea. It better be my favorite tea… because if it’s not I will be pissed.
“I was about to take my nap. What do you what?” I groaned.
“I brought you some tea and I wanted to talk to you about your present.” Kevin smiled.
“Really didn’t find it funny I hope you know that.” I rolled my eyes.
“I know. But come on, when you are officially done with your wrestling career, why not start a family?” Kevin shrugged.
“Yes, I love kids, but baby that’s too much for me. You know I’m gonna be traveling back and forth to go visit Sarah and Kat.”
“Why don’t they come here? Well, Vancouver. Not here, here in this house.” Kevin said,
“Yeah I know what you mean. But I’m not ready, ready to have kids right now. I’m sorry.” I pouted, taking a sip of my tea. “Ew that is this?”
“Green tea.” Kevin said.
I just groaned “I don’t like this.”
“Since when?” Kevin gasped.
“Just forget about it.” I said going under the covers.
“You know we can’t do that at my parents’ house!” Kevin laughed.
“Stupid, I’m going to sleep. Now get out.” I said pointing to the door.
“Well then…” Kevin uttered.
~~~ Sarah’s POV ~~~
“Hey Sarah, when are you leaving again for your academy?” Kris asked.
“Um, around April I think. Why?” I cocked my head.
“Oh nothing. Just curious.” Kris said writing it down on a piece of paper.
“You don’t have a slut on the side do you?! I have friends! I will hunt that bitch down!” I shouted.
“What? No, I’m doing something and I just needed to know. Calm down.” Kris laughed.
“I’m sorry.” I shrugged.
“Sarah!” Kat shouted running downstairs.
“What Kat?” I groaned.
“Have you seen my ring?” She whispered.
“Did you REALLY lose your ring already?” Kris jumped in.
“Hey! Stay out of this,” Kat said to Kris “But no seriously, have you seen it?”
“No, sorry. Did you ask Kane?” I asked.
“Yeah, Sarah! I’ll go ask my fiancé if he knows where my ring is.” Kat glared.
“Well sorry for helping.” I rolled my eyes.
“Kane is going to kill me!” Kat shouted.
“No he won’t. Where is he now?” Kris asked.
“He’s at practice right now.” Kat said, and then made a huge gasped.
“What?” I cocked my head.
“HELP ME FIND IT!” Kat yelled.
“Why do I have to help you find your engagement ring?” I laughed.
“HELP ME!” Kat gawked.
“Alright, alright, I’ll help you. But I better get something in return.” I glared.
“Um…. Like what exactly?” Kat cocked her head.
“I don’t know. I don’t have anything in mind right at this moment. But I’ll tell you when I think of something.” I smirked.
“This should be interesting.” Kat rolled her eyes.
I really don’t want to help Kat look for her ring because I’m lazy as fuck and I really don’t want to do anything. I was really enjoying this sandwich I was eating. And also, I was admiring the pumps Jammy got me. I really want to wear them. Like I REALLY want to wear them. Speaking of wearing them…. I hope she got the pumps in the right size. I hope so. That would be kinda sad if she doesn’t know my shoe size! But she makes fun of my forehead… bitch.
~~~ My POV hours later ~~~
It was a little after three in the afternoon. I swear I’ve been taking longer naps then usual. It’s starting to scare me. I’ve been throwing up in the morning; I would have these weird ass cravings for pickles too. Yeah I know, PICKLES. I usually have cravings for tacos, but this is starting to scare me. I hope I’m not pregnant. I don’t want to have a kid right now. UGH! Thanks for Kevin, now I’m having weird feelings I’m pregnant. Asshole, I hope he’s happy. But anyway, I was looking for Crawford’s Christmas and birthday present. Tomorrow’s his birthday, so why not give him a present. That’s very friendly. Even though I don’t like Christmas, I sure as hell love birthdays!
“Are you wearing your good skinny jeans?” Kevin asked.
“Yeah why?” I asked.
“You usually wear that when we go places, good places. Are you sure you aren’t going somewhere with a guy?” Kevin cocked his head.
“Why are you asking me questions all over a sudden?” I glared.
“Because I can.” Kevin said getting serious.
“No you can’t. I think I can go places with my own friend without being questioned.” I rolled my eyes.
“You’re about to stay home with me soon.” Kevin smirked pinning me up against the wall.
“No, get away from me.” I glared.
“I’m not moving.” Kevin said kissing my neck.
“Get off. Kevin, I’m not joking.” I said trying to move.
“Someone’s a little stiff today.” Kevin mumbled moving away from me.
“Think about it. What did you give me as a present? And NO I’m not talking about the sweatshirt.” I rolled my eyes, grabbing my jacket and both presents and leaving the room.
“What? You aren’t going to tell me you love me when you leave now?” Kevin asked.
“Bye Kevin.” I sighed, leaving the room.
“SO! I heard you aren’t going to meet a friend. You’re meeting Crawford.” Luke said, scaring the living shit out of me.
“If you say anything, I swear to god I will make your life a living hell.” I death glared Luke.
“Chill, I was about to say, that I won’t say anything. Kevin’s been a dick to me, so I won’t tell him that his girlfriend is fooling around.” Luke shrugged.
“I’m not fooling around. Now move, my ride is here.” I rolled my eyes.
“Have fun while it last Jamila.” Luke shouted.
“I’ll try too.” I said, and then left the house.
Corey was waiting like at least two blocks from Kevin’s house. I think I know why he did that but, I hate walking so I don’t know why he did all of that.
“Are you ready?” Corey asked.
“Yes! Now hurry before I get really impatient.” I laughed.
It took about 45 minutes of driving, I hate going places when the drive is like 30 minutes or longer. But shockingly I didn’t fall asleep. We pulled up to this… place that looks abandon, but there were cars and stuff parked outside so… either this is a party and an intervention.
“Where are we?” I asked.
“Modeling place.” Corey said.
“Wait, I can’t model.” I uttered.
“You don’t have to know how to model. Here,” He said giving me a present.
“What is it?” I asked.
“Nothing really major, just open it when we get inside.” He said.
“Okay.” I uttered.
We got out the car, went into the building and my upset mood just flew out the window.
“OH MY GOSH!” I whispered loudly, quickly turning around so I don’t embarrass myself.
“Take 5.” The photographer said.
“Hey man, thanks for doing this.” Corey said.
“No problem. Now this must be your friend. Hey, I’m Rick Genest.” He said.
“Oh my god, I love you. You’re freaking amazing and I love your tattoos. Okay I should probably stop talking…” I mumbled.
“No, no it’s fine. My buddy Corey here said that you love my work.” Rick said.
“I DO! I mean… yes, yes I do.” I nodded.
“You wanna take a couple pictures?” Rick suggested.
“That would be really nice.” I squealed.
“Crawford said that you might wanna wear your present.” Rick suggested.
I opened the present. “Your jersey? You know Kevin is gonna kill me right?”
“Just tell him Kat got it for you.” Corey shrugged.
“I didn’t open Kat’s present yet.” I glared.
“Well I don’t know. Make up something. Go! Go take pictures. I’ll jump in a couple pictures when I feel like it.” Corey smiled.
“Okay!” I jumped.
~~~ Taylor’s POV ~~~
“Drew! Where the hell are you?!” I shouted walking into the locker room.
“He’s not in here.” Richards said.
“Ew I don’t like you.” I glared.
“Why? Because the Flyers got your poor Wayne?” Richards laughed.
“I don’t find you funny.” I rolled my eyes.
“Hey, you two, stop it.” Kopitar ordered.
“He started it…”I mumbled “Anyway, where’s Drew. My mom wants to talk to him.”
“He’s out on the ice.” Kopitar said.
“Then where’s Dustin…?” I asked.
“Not here.” Kopitar answered.
“WHERE IS HE?!” I shouted.
“Whoa, why are you shouting?” Drew asked, walking into the locker room.
“Where’s Dustin? And here my mom wants to talk to you.” I rolled my eyes.
“Brown is talking to the new head coach and, why does she need to talk to me?” Drew cocked his head.
“I don’t know. Just take the phone.” I said. Then left the room.
I swear this has been an awkward day… Dustin has been rather distant from me this morning, and Jamila is going on dates with other people. Why the hell is he dating other people I don’t know? But all I know is, Dustin better now be sucking faces with some tramp or I will hurt him and kick the other girls’ ass. I will regret nothing. I peaked through the window to see if the meeting or whatever was going on was over and I guess not. Ugh! I’m rather bored and he promised me that he was going to take me skating on the rink. He should really hurry up. I have to leave soon to meet my mom, and I really don’t want too, but I have too.
“Thanks guys.” Dustin sighed.
“Hey what’s going on?” I asked.
“Nothing, just business,” He said kissing my forehead “Are you ready? I think they have skates for you.”
“You think?” I gasped.
“Knowing Quick he probably took them and hid them.” Dustin shrugged.
“Ugh! I hope not, I really want to know how to skate.” I groaned.
“Why do you want to skate so badly?” He asked.
“Because… well I don’t know to be honest.” I shrugged.
“Is this family related?” Dustin asked.
“Yeah pretty much, I never get to play hockey with the family on Christmas because I couldn’t skate.” I sighed.
“Drew couldn’t help you?”
“No! He would always be a douche bag to me! And I’m older!” I glared.
“Well he’s 22. You're 25. Think about it. YOU should be nice to him more.” Dustin thought.
“That really didn’t make any sense at all, I hope you know that. And I’m 23!”
“You’ve been 23 for the past two years. Give it up.” Dustin laughed.
“Bitch, don’t laugh at me.” I rolled my eyes.
“Come on let’s go, we have a game tomorrow against Vancouver.” Dustin said.
“Van WHO?!” I gasped.
“Vancouver… you know that place in Canada.” Dustin smirked.
“No! Y-y-you can’t play against them!” I shouted.
“What the hell?” Dustin cocked his head.
“Listen, the guy who stalks me, is a Canucks fan.” I said.
“How many stalkers do you have?!”
“Never mind, I’ll just watch the game in the locker room.” I rolled my eyes.
“No, you’re gonna sit behind the bench.” Dustin demanded.
“Are you trying to get me killed?” I raised my eyebrow.
“Here, your mom said that Tyler isn’t going to be there at the family skate, so you have to take his place and I have to sit out.” Drew said, approaching me.
“Ugh, fuck my life.” I groaned.
~~~ My POV 5pm ~~~
“Is this like my early birthday gift or something?” I asked laughing looking at the photos we took.
“Well you can say that.” Corey smirked.
“Hey guys, I hope you had a great time. I will mail the pictures when they are finished and developed.” Rick said.
“Thank you!” I jumped.
“Have a great day and happy holidays.” Rick smiled then walked away.
“Wait, how did you know I love his work?” I asked Corey.
“I saw your tweets about him. So I just had to set this up.” Corey shrugged.
“Oh well this sucks.” I pouted.
“Why?” He asked.
“Because the presents I got you are crappy and whatnot.” I sighed.
“I bet you they’re not. Wait you got me two?” Corey gasped.
“Yes, one for today and one for tomorrow.” I smiled.
Then my text message phone started going off.
“Hey where are you? We have to leave in like an hour and you aren’t here.”
“Shit!” I shouted.
“Kevin?” Corey thought.
I just nodded “I don’t want to go skating.” I groaned.
“Just go, I’ll drop you off.” Corey offered.
“Well you have to drop me off anyway, you are my ride.” I laughed walking away.
But he stopped me and pointed up the ceiling.
“What is that?”
“Mistletoe.” He smiled.
“Oh… well this is awkward.” I laughed.
“It doesn’t have to be.” Corey said, giving me a kiss.
And he wouldn’t stop… damn him for being a great kisser…
“I can’t do this, can you just take me home?” I mumbled.
“Yeah.” Corey sighed.
~~~ 45 minutes later ~~~
“I’ll call you before I leave tomorrow.” I said.
“Have fun at your family skate.”
“I’ll try too. Later.” I said getting out the car and walking into the house.
“What took you so long?!?!” Kevin gasped.
“I’m sorry, I was fangirling over Rick.” I laughed.
“Okay, I really don’t want a recap of your day. Go get ready!” Kevin said, slapping my butt.
“Ouch! I’m not your hockey buddies. Don’t do that!” I yelled.
“Sorry, I’m not sorry.” Kevin smirked.
“Whatever.” I shook my head laughing, running upstairs.
I quickly put Corey’s jersey in my suitcase because I didn’t want Kevin finding it. I went into the bathroom, took about a 30 minute shower and got dress. Since it was a lazy day I put on my sweatpants and looked for Kevin’s jersey. I’m so stupid. I really don’t know what’s going on with me but, things haven’t been the same ever since my injury. So you know what, since I don’t hate Trevor I’ll talk to him more. I don’t like Luke; he is so fucking nosy it’s unbelievable.
“Okay I’m ready.” I said coming downstairs.
“Babe we are going skating, not school. Why are you wearing sweats?” Kevin asked.
“I feel bloated.” I lied.
“Okay… well um… okay.” Kevin mumbled.
“Yes! So don’t question my clothing,” I glared “I’m going to ride with Trevor. Is that okay?”
“Sure, if it’ll lower your hatred for my brothers.” Kevin laughed.
“Thank you!” I said kissing him on the cheek “I love you.”
“I love you too.” He smiled.
“Alright you two love birds. Are you ready to go?” Angela jumped.
“Yes!” I said with a fake smile.
We all left the house and I’m not gonna lie, it seemed like it dropped 40 degrees. Because it’s really cold. Maybe it was the shower…? I don’t know but it got really cold. I told Trevor that I’m riding with him to the ice rink because maybe this time apart would be good. By time, I mean like an hour of driving. Good grief. Not even 15 minutes in the car and Trevor is already asking questions. But I just kept ignoring him. Till he got to a serious topic, and by serious, I mean my love life. This should be interesting.
“Jamila, I have a question for you.” Trevor said.
“What?”
“Are you going to leave my Kevin?” Trevor asked.
“Wait whoa what!? Who told you that?!” I gasped.
“No one, I’m just asking because… well because I saw you getting out that goalies’ car.” Trevor mumbled.
“Look, I can’t promise you this but, I really think taking a break from Kevin won’t be bad… again.” I sighed.
I don’t even know what the hell I’m talking about.
“Wait so you’re breaking up with Kevin to date Corey?” Trevor gasped.
“No, I’m not going to do that. Trust me. Listen, I love Kevin, don’t get me wrong, but we’ve been with each other for a while now, and I really need my space. I don’t have that space anymore.” I said.
“If you leave him-”
“I’m not leaving him.” I corrected him.
“Okay, when you two break up, I’m not going to have a niece or nephew?” Trevor asked.
“Why do you guys want me to have a kid so bad?” I uttered.
“Because, Kevin always wanted a child ever since he started dating.” Trevor shrugged.
“Well, I’m not going to have one until my contract is up.” I said.
“When will that be?”
“Sunday.”
“Well that’s good.” Trevor smiled.
“You know, you are so much better then my little brother.” I laughed.
“I am the youngest.” Trevor said.
“Awe! You’re slowly becoming my best friend.”
“At least I’m on your good side. And not the bad.” Trevor thought.
“Trust me; Luke is already on my bad side.” I laughed, putting my music in and resting for the rest of the car ride.
I really don’t know what I’m going to do. I love Kevin with all my heart, but I really DON’T know why I’m having feelings for Corey. I’m like really screwed right now. Nothing seems to be right. I thought, moving to Canada would be fun. But it turned out to be a major hell hole. Maybe… maybe it wouldn’t hurt to have time apart from Kevin again. I just don’t want him to think it’s permanent. Ugh! What the hell am I going to do?! When we get to the ice rink, I should probably call the only person who knows how to help me with guy problems. It was about an hour left of driving. I was already passed out sleeping listening to music. But I literally woke up because ‘Bleed’ by Hot Chelle Rae started playing… that’s the song me and Kevin danced to when we were in Vancouver. But I went back to sleep anyway.
~~~ 1 hour later ~~~
“Hey bone head. Wake up.” Trevor said shaking my shoulder.
“Call me a bone head again… I dare you.” I glared walking up.
“At least it got you to wake up.” Trevor laughed.
“Ugh, you annoy me.” I shook my head, getting out the car.
Kevin just ran up to me.
“Hi?” I said confused.
“How come you didn’t text me back?” He asked.
“I didn’t get any text messages…” I said.
“Oh. Okay well, forget about it then.” Kevin said taking my hand.
When we walked into the ice rink, I was trying to figure out why there were goals set up and I just remember we were playing a game. I really didn’t want to play! I don’t know how to fucking skate! Ugh, I hate this. So that’s why I asked Kevin to sit out for like the first 15 minutes of the game. He really didn’t like the idea but he just gave in. that gave me time to call Victoria. It went straight to voicemail. Well looks like I’m alone on this…
“Hey, you ready?” Kevin asked.
“Didn’t I tell you I can’t skate!?” I glared.
“Come on, I’ll help you.” He offered.
“But- fine.” I groaned.
As I got on the ice, I started falling. For a chick that was in cheerleading and gymnastics, I somehow can’t hold my balance...
“I wanna sit.” I laughed.
“You’re doing fine.” Kevin smiled.
“Well, I do gotta talk to you about something. Something… important.” I said.
“Oh, um, okay. I guess.” Kevin shrugged, and helped me back onto the bench.
“Okay so, I was talking to Trevor about this. I think… I think we need to be apart for a while.”
“Didn’t we already do that when you left Vancouver?” Kevin thought.
“No that’s not it. Ever since our anniversary, you’ve been way to attach to me.” I said.
“What are you saying?” Kevin asked.
“I want to be alone for a while.” I replied.
“Oh… you want to be single don’t you?” Kevin shook his head.
“That not what I’m saying. I’ll be gone for at least a week. I think that’s enough time for us.” I mumbled.
“You want to be with at rookie don’t you?” Kevin gawked.
“No! Oh my god no that’s NOT why I’m doing this. See what you’re doing? You’re assuming I’ll do that, when you’re wrong. DEAD wrong. I’m not jeopardizing our relationship over him!” I cried.
“Take all the time you need.” Kevin rolled his eyes and skated away.
“Wait! Kevin come on!” I groaned. “I give up on love…”
Can this day get any worse? I really just had enough. So I just left and went to the bathroom. Forget Christmas, forget this Tin Cup game, and forget everything! My life is just a wreck right now and all I have to blame for is myself. I let Crawford get to me, and I’ve really fucked it up this time with Kevin. I ran into the bathroom stall and started pacing. I was in the really big stall so there was enough room. After like 5 minutes of being alone in the bathroom, someone came in and started calling my name.
“Jamila? Are you in here?” Someone asked.
“No.” I cried.
Then she knocked on the stall I was in.
“Hey, it’s Tracy. Kevin’s cousin. Can you come out?” She asked.
“If you’re gonna yell at me, I rather not coming out.” I said.
“No, I’m one of the nice ones in the family.” Tracy laughed.
So I gave in and opened up the door.
“I saw what happened with you and Kevin. You know what your problem is?” She started.
“What?” I asked.
“You’re having feelings with two guys and you can’t control it. I know it sounds weird, but it’s really hard. I know I’ve been through it. Kevin hasn’t been great ever since you two met.” Tracy explained.
“Wait what do you mean?” I asked again.
“When you two started dating, he’s been telling everyone that you’re the best girl, he’s ever been with. You like him because he is himself. Crying over every fight to you have gotten into isn’t really helping the situation. Now, get up, put that wonderful smile back on your face and come enjoy the game.” Tracy smiled.
“Yeah but I don’t know how to skate.” I laughed.
“I’m not even playing so we can sit on the bench together.” She said.
I thought about it for a while. I don’t know she’s being so nice to be. But at least this is the second person in the Bieksa household that can tolerate me.
“Alright.” I said, shrugging my shoulders.
As we made our way back to the benches in the ice rink, every time Kevin would come get something to drink he wouldn’t look at me. So yeah I fucked up really bad…
~~~ Sarah’s POV ~~~
I was enjoying this amazing grilled cheese sandwich in my room till Kat started banging on the door freaking out because she still hasn’t found her ring. Oh must I mention that Kane is home? But he’s in the shower. That’s probably why she’s looking really hard right now.
“Are you gonna answer the door?” Kris laughed.
“No. I’m eating.” I said.
“Why can’t you put down the food and answer the door?!” Kris laughed.
“Because my food is more important then Kat’s ring.” I shrugged.
“I CAN HEAR YOU!” Kat shouted.
“You know what Sarah, its okay I’ll go get the door.” Kris glared.
“Thanks babe.” I smiled.
“What Kat?” Kris sighed.
“Can I check your room?” She asked.
“You checked in here like 3 times already.” I groaned.
“Just go tell him you misplaced it.” Kris suggested.
“But I don’t want- okay.” Kat rolled her eyes. “Kane!”
“What!” Kane shouted from upstairs.
“Can you come down here?” Kat asked.
“I don’t have any clothes on!” Kane shouted.
“That right there, is information I really didn’t want to know about.” I gagged.
“Put your robe on or something! Come on its important!” Kat gulped.
Then Kane came downstairs. This dude had a pink robe on. Kris started laughing a little bit till Kat gave him a death glare then he stopped.
“What is it?” Kane asked.
“Will you yell at me if I tell you?” Kat uttered.
“It depends on how bad it is.” Kane cocked his head.
“OH MY GOSH! Get on it with!” I yelled.
“Kane I lost my ring.” Kat said.
“No you didn’t.” Kane laughed.
“Oh lord.” I rolled my eyes.
“Bitch shut up.” Kat glared.
“You didn’t lose it. I told you I went to practice, but I really went to the ring place to get it resized.” Kane smirked.
It was like a dead silence… till the Flyers scored, I screamed, the shut up afterwards.
“You made me think I lost it!” Kat pouted.
“I’m sorry.” Kane laughed.
“You better be! I fucking turned the house upside down!” Kat yelled.
“It’s right side up though…” I mumbled.
“You’re such a smart ass.” Kris laughed.
“Russian smart ass.” I smiled.
“Where’s my ring?” Kat ask.
“They are resizing it.” Kane said.
“When am I getting my ring back?!” Kat gasped.
“Next week.” Kane said.
“Great… I’m ring-less.” She said.
“You’ll still have me.” Kane said giving her a kiss.
“EW! Not when I’m eating! Why the fuck are y’all in my room?! Get out, I’m watching a game!” I glared.
“Rude.” Kane said.
“Fuckhead.” I replied.
“Oh my god.” Kris laughed.
~~~ My POV after skating ~~~
Have you ever noticed in all Princess Disney movies, they have a happy ending? Well that’s me right now! Sike, no it’s not. I feel like an asshole right now. This is the second time I messed up this relationship with Kevin. But the second time I had a reason. I really needed my space. And plus with my career ending, I can left out more of my anger that I have, by kicking Heather’s ass in the ring when I come back. I asked Triple H if he can set up that match for me. He said he can see what he can do. I have one RAW and one PPV left. So that’s perfect. Loser leaves WWE? Or… what? I don’t know. Jenny has been telling me that the WWE management hasn’t been the same since I left. Great…. I was just now finishing my shower; I got dressed in the bathroom because I didn’t feel like leaving the bathroom. I wore the Minnie Mouse pj’s Taylor got me for my birthday last year. Oh god… speaking of my birthday, I wish it wouldn’t come. I really wish it wouldn’t. But I really want to go to the Pier again for my birthday. That would be really nice. When I left the bathroom, Kevin was just sitting on the bed, so I went into the closet, took out the jersey he gave for me and placed it on the bed. He was really confused.
“Since you’re not going to talk to me, I might as well give these back.” I sighed.
As I was taking off the promise ring he gave me when I was in the hospital, he stopped me.
“I don’t hate you, you know.” Kevin mumbled.
I just rolled my eyes.
“Sit.” He said tapping the bed.
I just sat at the opposite end of the bed.
“What?” I said.
“Be honest with me. Do you or do you not, have feelings for Corey?” Kevin asked straight forward.
“Yes, I have feelings for him. The day we broke up when you found that text message, I stayed over at Kat’s house. Nothing new, but when we went out for dinner, I left early ad went with Corey. The night you called me, saying that you were just checking up on me, you got me mad. So I couldn’t sleep and I left the room and went to sleep on the pull-out couch with him. No we didn’t do anything. But when he was driving me home, I got really emotional, I told him my problems and that’s when Corey made the move. NOT me.” I explained.
“Is that it?” Kevin thought.
“No.” I said getting up from the bed and going into my suitcase.
I took out the present Corey got me while I was hanging out with him.
“I was hanging out with him today. He took me to go see my favorite model.” I said.
“Wow. So you were sneaking around?” Kevin uttered.
“If I was sneaking around, I would of slept with him already.” I crossed my arms.
“Did you?!?” Kevin gasped.
“No!” I rolled my eyes, sitting back down on the bed.
Kevin started pulling me towards him.
“I hope you know; I will never forgive you for this. But I can’t stay mad at you. I hope you have fun tomorrow at your live event.” Kevin smiled.
“I’ll try too.” I sighed, getting up and leaving the room. But he stopped me again.
“Where are you going?”
“Going to go and sleep on the couch.” I mumbled.
“Now, I’m not THAT mad at you.” He smirked.
“You really want me to sleep up here?” I asked.
“Are we broke up?” Kevin cocked his head.
“No.” I said with a little smile.
“Please?” He begged.
“I want to get something to drink first.” I said.
Then I ran downstairs, everyone was sleeping so I just went into the liquid cabinet and took at least two shots of Vodka. I really am going to regret this… But tomorrow, I’ll be leaving for Virginia for the Slammy awards. It should be entertaining. Or somewhere near entertaining. Oh well… but anyway, I went back upstairs and got into the bed. Not going to lie, I’m going to miss this. I really am. We must be really taking a break because he didn’t say he loves me. Yup, major Jammy problems right now… Bah humbug.
