Last time on "Once Upon a Time....."
It took several attempts to get it right, but Christina was soon successfully fed, and was now fast asleep again.
I smiled as my mom walked through the door, closely followed by Corey's parents. They gasped loudly when they saw Christina and then grinned at us.
"Do you have a name for her?" Corey's mom asked us.
Corey's eyes met mine briefly and I smiled as he looked back at his mom. "Christina Sarah."
"That's so beautiful." Sarah said, and I could see her getting teary eyed. Her name was Sarah after all. "Thank you."
I passed Christina over to Sarah who held her and then passed her to Corey's mom and then Corey's dad.
It wasn't long until the door was opening again and Bieksa, Taylor, Amy, Ashley and Emery wanted to come in.
"We'll be back in to see you soon Jammy." My mom said, smiling and handing Christina to Corey. I smiled and nodded, watching in awe as Corey held her. It was obvious how much he loved her already.
Much like our parents had, Amy gasped as Corey handed Christina to her. "Oh Corey!" She said happily. "She's so beautiful!"
Corey smiled. "She's called Christina Sarah."
“After me!” Sarah exclaimed.
“Yes, and you’re the auntie.” I smiled, laughing shortly afterwards.
"I love it." Ashley said, peering over Amy's shoulder.
"You can hold her if you want Kevin." Corey said.
"I...might drop her. I think it's better to just look..."
"What? No, you can hold her." I said smiling. I watched as Amy passed the pink bundle to Bieksa and he held her like the most fragile thing in the world.
As Christina was once again passed around the visitors, Corey turned to me, and just sighed contently as he looked at me.
I smiled. "What?"
A small smile appeared on his face as he took hold of my hand. He looked down at our hands. "You have no idea how scared I was."
"I know Corey. But I'm okay."
He looked back up at me with pained eyes. "But you almost weren't. I almost lost you and I don't know what I would have done."
I smiled slightly. "You would have been great Corey. You would've been fine."
He shook his head. "I couldn't do this without you. I couldn't do...anything without you."
I smiled and broke away from his hand, lifting my fingertips to stroke along his face and rest on his jaw.
"I'm here. Alright? I'm fine."
Corey smiled and we broke away when Christina was handed back to me.
Our parents soon entered the room again, and gathered around us. But it might as well have just been me Corey and Christina.
We were a proper little family now, and my life was going to be devoted to her from now on. She depended on me. On us. There was no room for screwing up now.
I looked up and our family's faces and they laughed and joked with each other. Our entire family was with us, supporting us.
******************
It’s been three years since I’ve given
birth to my sweet angle, Christina Sarah Crawford. I have had a lot of time
being a mother, and must I say wife as well? Yeah, Corey proposed two years ago
on my birthday, and we got married 8 months later, in Paris. How crazy that I
get married in the dream place I’ve been talking about getting married in since
I was 22 years old? Now that I’m officially 28, a mother and a wife, I must
say, that my life is just 100% perfect. It’s all I’ve ever dreamt it could be.
I must mention that Kevin, yes Kevin, is
still in my life as well. Christina loves her god uncle so much its adorable.
Corey was completely okay with Kevin and his brothers to come visit Christina
whenever they felt like it, but calling first I must point out. If you were
wondering, I still have my best friends with me. Ashley, Taylor, Kat and Sarah
are still in my life. Kat and Kane are doing perfectly fine, just when he comes
over my house with Kat, I get very salty because he ends up messing up
everything that I had perfectly set. Sometimes I just want to kill him. Sarah
still couldn’t get over the fact that her first name is my first born' middle name.
She will never ever live that down. Sarah and Kris are doing great, since he
was traded back to the Hawks, we’ve all been a happy family.
Sarah, Kris, Corey and myself would
always go on double dates when we get the time to do so. Sarah is officially a
police officer in Illinois and officially my bodyguard, haha just kidding. But
she’s a wonderful cop. I’m so happy for her and all of the accomplishments she
has made through all of this. Ashley, well, she is now dating Jonathan Toews.
But they never want to hang out or anything which sucks. But those crazy
lovebirds are always together when they get the chance and it’s adorable! Now
on to Taylor… good ol’ Taylor Brown. Yup, Mr. and Mrs. Dustin Brown. They tied
the knot, again, after the Kings won their first Stanley Cup. The ceremony was
cute. They actually let the both of them use the Cup for the wedding. It was
cute. I mean, they actually never had a wedding in the first place, so I guess
they were waiting on the perfect opportunity to actually have a big wedding.
Now on to reality. We are all currently
living in Chicago, minus Taylor and Dustin who both live in Los Angeles, but
visits frequently. Amy, Corey’s cousin still lives with us because now she is
such a helpful youngie while helping with Christina. Oh yeah, I forgot to
mention, she’s dating Shaw. How wonderful.
But anyhow, we now live in a dream house basically. Outside pool, big backyard,
a huge gate that surrounds our house because of the past burglaries that we’ve
had a couple of months ago, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a really big living room,
a big kitchen, finished basement that’s basically a man cave/playroom and so on
and so forth.
I was beginning to cook dinner because
it was close to 8 o’clock and Corey was going to be coming home soon after his
game in a couple of hours, which we’re currently watching on the big screen.
Amy, Christina and myself weren’t able to make it to the game because of
Christina’s flu. I was making spaghetti with meatballs because some of the
players are going to be coming back here to eat. I swear, Corey always tells
people that I’m going to be cooking because when he calls me during
intermission, he tells me that certain people are coming over so make extras.
Really? That man, I swear.
“Hey, Jammy. I think Chrissy is ready
for bed.” Amy told me while I stirred the pot of tomato sauce.
“If she’s tired, then go put her to sleep.
If you put her down, she’ll fall asleep. ” I shook my head when I turned to Amy,
holding up the spoon near her mouth so she can taste the sauce.
“Holy crap, that’s really good!”
“Thanks, family recipe!” I winked
playfully, putting the cover over the pot and wiped my hands. “Okay so, there’s
going to be twelve people, but I don’t have many cups… so I sadly have to use
my good wine glasses.” I glared.
I hated using my good glasses when the
team comes over. I’ve always been short on glasses and its quiet depressing if
you ask me. I never understood why. While I was looking for some of my wine
glasses, Christina began to cry in her swing. I huffed, and looked over at Amy,
basically begging for her to look for my other glasses while I go cater to my
daughter’s needs.
“Hey princess! Oh you’re getting so big.
That’s it, no more father daughter time for you two.” I chuckled, while I
picked up her sippy cup and gave her some of her water. “Daddy will be home
soon! They just beat the Islanders, so he’s going to be in a good mood. Thank
god.” I smiled, kissing her forehead gently, and placed Christina in her play
area.
As I was walking back into the kitchen,
the door was suddenly starting to jingle. I looked at our security cams just to
see that it was a shitload of people outside of the door. All men in suits and
sweaty heads. I noticed Crawford instantly when he opened up the door and waved
at the camera. I swear, he does this all the time and it’s the cutest thing.
Sometimes he thinks Christina is looking, but other times, it’s just me. I mean
honestly.
“Jamila, Amy! I’m home! The guys are
here!” Corey called out, telling the other guys to make sure they took their
shoes off. Good, I hate the tracked messes people would make.
“We’re in the kitchen!” Amy responded
while I began to cook the meatballs.
I wasn’t even paying attention when Corey
came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, a small squeak left my
lips as he did that. I turned around to look at the taller man who now has
bushy hair and a beard.
“Crawford, I swear to god! I am cooking,
I could have easily tipped the frying pan over!” I pouted, hitting him
playfully on the chest and then punched his arm.
“I’m so very sorry Jamila. Where’s the
little one?”
“She’s in her playpen. But before she’s
really cranky right now for some odd reason. Just don’t go tossing her around. I
fed her an hour ago and I don’t want her throwing up all over the place.” I
told Corey as I began to drain the spaghetti.
“Yes, yes, I know. You just get back to
cooking, you grumpy butt.” Corey grinned while he and the rest of the guys
began to play with Christina.
I just rolled my eyes and didn’t even
bother to respond back to him. Taking my time to not burn the food, I tried my
best to finish up the meat but then the doorbell to the front door began to
ring. I looked over at the guys then over at Amy to figure out if we were
missing anyone, but she just shook her head not knowing who was missing.
“Can you get the door?” I asked nicely.
Nodding her head, Amy went to the front
door and looked through the security cam and opened the door quickly. I didn’t
know what was going on, but all I heard was screaming and cheering. I was too
occupied to even realize that someone was calling my name while running into
the kitchen. I looked up just in time to see that Sarah coming into the
kitchen, WITH HER SHOES ON, and began hugging me. I remember when I never liked
her and now she’s like a sister to me.
“JAMMY! Hey!” Sarah squealed while
hugging me.
“Do you have your shoes on in this
house?” I asked more puzzled than ever.
“But its flip flops! Jamila, just shut
up and hug me dammit.” She laughed while she slipped her shoes off.
I gave Sarah a hug, thanking her for
taking her flip flops off and looked over at Bella when she began barking. Kris
made his way over to Sarah, giving her the biggest hug anyone has even seen
when we’re around them and we all just awed in place. They are so adorable
together it makes me happy that they are finally together.
“Kat didn’t come with you?” I asked
curiously when I noticed Kane in the back with the guys.
“She texted, me saying that she
apologizes that she couldn’t make it, but she will be free sometime next week.”
Sarah smiled as she sat on top of the counter.
I just looked at her, then at the counter;
just turning my body while I shook my head.
I swear, I’m going to kill her one day.
~~~~ After
Dinner ~~~~
Corey and I had finally put Christina back
to sleep when everyone left just about an hour ago. Amy decided to have Shaw
over for the night, which by the way I don’t mind, but I told them no sex in my
house. They better follow those rules, I’m not even joking.
Corey and I were just relaxing in bed,
my arms wrapped around his waist while he watched some movie that I really
didn’t care about. I looked up at Corey and over at the T.V. pouting when he
wasn’t paying attention to me.
“What’s the matter?” Corey sighed,
probably knowing that I was staring at him.
“Nothing. Why? Do you think something is
wrong?” I asked nonchalantly.
“You keep staring at me like I’ve done
something wrong.” He said, pausing the movie and turning his attention to me.
“Nothing is wrong, I was just
acknowledging this amazing view I have till you leave again,” I pouted, poking
his stomach as I placed my head on his lap. “You should really sha-“
“I’m not shaving or cutting anything,
don’t ask me again.” He kissed my nose, with a sly smirk on his face.
“Fuck man,” I rolled my eyes, “I can
never do nothing!” I chuckled softly, turning off my side of the life and deciding
that it was best to just go to sleep.
I was most likely not going to win the
argument.
~~~~ The
next morning; 6:48 am ~~~~
Corey was already up and ready to take
Christina to the gym in the basement that is located in the basement. I was happy
that Corey thought about having a gym downstairs, because I wouldn’t have
worked off the baby weight with paying $14.99 or more at L.A fitness. I
couldn’t do it. Not even for a simple kickboxing lesson.
Just as I getting ready to go back to
sleep, I heard the doorbell rapidly ringing. I groaned loudly, looking at the
security surveillance on the side of the wall, I noticed quickly that it was
Taylor. I rolled my eyes enough to make it seem like I was the Undertaker or
something. Getting out of the bed, I walked downstairs, through the kitchen and
to the front door. I waited another second and just opened the door.
“Taylor Elizabeth, how may I help you?”
I smiled tiredly, looking at her.
“I just wanted to come see the little
one. I have a feeling that I would be too occupied while I’m in this weird city,
for the next couple of days.” She grinned, taking her shoes off before she
walked into the house.
I really love when people respect the no
shoes rule.
“It’s almost 7 in the morning. Corey and
Christina are in the gym.” I pointed out to Taylor while I made my way to the
kitchen to make myself a cup of tea.
“And you’re not with them? That sounds
like a loveable family bonding moment.” Taylor thought while she sat down on
the stool to the island.
I just looked at Taylor and shook my
head, telling her that I wasn’t in the mood for exercising at such an ungodly
hour of the day. After the kettle began to whistle, I took it off of the stove,
poured the water into the mug and placed the teabag inside the mug, then sat in
front of Taylor as I sipped my mint tea. Oh how I love tea.
We both talked about how our marriages
been going and I just shook my head at the fact that Taylor went on and on
about the sock that Dustin left in the living room of their LA home.
“Taylor, don’t you think freaking out
about a sock is just too much?” I asked curiously.
“No. Not all. You freak out when people
walk into the house with their shoes on.”
“That’s because I hate shoe tracks.”
“Then you might as well chop everyone’s
feet off because you hate shoe tracks,” Taylor rolled her eyes a bit annoyed,
but decided to change the subject. “Okay listen, I think we all should go out
and do something. You, me, Ashley, Kat and Sarah. All of us go out and have a girl’s
day.” Taylor suggested.
“I have to bring Christina with me.
Unless Amy can babysit.” I thought, just thinking about the idea makes me
cringe.
I had to put Amy on house arrest the
night after the Hawks won the Stanley Cup due to the fact that she went out and
partied all night with Andrew and never once picked up her phone or anything. I
and Corey were both worried due to the fact that, Amy never picked up her
phone. I mean, yeah she’s 22 years old now. But she’s like a daughter to me,
just like Christina, Amy has rules as well until she leaves the house and finds
a place of her own.
“Amy! Can you come downstairs please?!”
I called out while I sipped my tea and ate a couple of crackers.
“Yeah?” She responded while coming down
the steps.
“Can you babysit sometime next week? If
you don’t have classes, that’s perfect. Because we’re having a girls day and I
need a babysitter.” I asked nicely just as Corey was making his way upstairs
with Christina.
They were both sweating and it was
gross. I’m pretty sure we have a water fountain of some sort downstairs. I mean
honestly.
“Hey precious!” Taylor gasped when she
saw the little sweaty 3 year old.
“Tay!” Christina babbled.
“She still can’t say my full first name?”
Taylor pouted when she picked up Christina and placed her on her lap.
“She can’t even say Joel. It stresses
her out when she can’t say it when she sees him.” Corey laughed joyfully when
he drank the juice straight from the carton.
Really dude? Really? You have your own
juice, don’t use the family juice.
“Corey, I swear to god.” I clenched my
jaw slightly while looking at him.
All Corey did was shrugged his shoulders
because he was trying to swollen the rest of the stuff that was in his mouth.
But then apologized afterwards, good boy. But the fact that I have OCD and
bipolar disorder, everything to anything just starts to annoy the living shit
out of me and I hate it.
But after Amy had finished checking her
schedule on the calendar, she told me that she was able to babysit whenever
because she’ll be starting spring break. Oh I remember when I was in college.
Spring break and Winter break were the best kinds of breaks. I would love to
thank the person or persons who had came up with that. Bless your hearts.
“Thanks baby doll! Maybe I’ll let you
have off house arrest during your spring break.” I smiled, walking over to
Corey and looked at him with a smile, “Did you enjoy your workout with
Chrissy?” I asked curiously.
“Yes, she tried running the treadmill
while I was on it and it freaked me out a little bit. We have to get her
something that she’ll enjoy. I don’t think those playful exercising tools will
help her anymore.”
“I like to run with daddy.” Christina
smiled with her finger in her mouth, her baby voice really coming out a lot.
I sighed softly when I looked over at
Christina who was now playing with Taylor’s hair and looked up at Corey. I just
shrugged my shoulders, thinking that I’ll think of something else later on when
she gets older.
“Hey Jam. Did you tell Corey about next weekend?”
Taylor blurted out, out of nowhere.
I
looked at her with the dirtiest look ever, and then Corey looked at me with a
confused face. “What’s happening next weekend?” Corey asked curiously.
“I was invited to go to a Rangers game.
St. Louis invited Taylor and myself.” I told Corey with a smile, casually
wrapping my arms around his “And I’m going, and there’s nothing you can do that
can stop me!” I grinned slightly.
“Here’s your answer. No.” Corey stated,
placing the towel around his neck and walked away from me.
“You can’t tell me no!” I glared.
“I just did. And I’m not changing my
mind. Don’t even try to change it either.”
“How come every time she wants to go
somewhere, you say no?” Amy asked curiously while she filed her nails.
“I’ll give you a history; when she went
to Vancouver, she dumped Sharp and dated Bieksa. She moved in with Bieksa in
Vancouver, cheated on him with me and now she is with me. I am now married to
her, we have a daughter, and she is not going anywhere out of state.” Corey
shook his head while drinking his water. “It’s just not happening.”
“To make the unnecessary story short;
Jammy was with this kid Anthony, dumped him for Sharp, dated Sharp, broke up
with Sharp to be with Bieksa, dated Bieksa, broke up with Bieksa to be with
Corey. BUT, Corey and Jammy were friends with benefits, and then they dated,
but she cheated on Corey with Emery. Emery was obsessed with Jammy, she stayed
with Emery for 3 months while she was pregnant, but ended up coming home to
find you, Amy mast-” I quickly stopped Taylor before could even finished.
“WHOA ENOUGH!” I looked at her with a
furious look. “The fact that the both of youse keep bringing that old stuff up
is rather frustrating. The fact that you would say that in front of my daughter
is disrespectful. Honestly, I just wanted to see my hometown team play for one
game. You’re making it seem like all hell will break loose.” I glared at Corey
and just did a face palm. “I’m going and you’re going to have to trust me. I
would be an idiot to sabotage our family.”
After I had said my final words, I
ushered Christina to come upstairs with me so we’ll be able to take our morning
nap. It was a little after 9 in the morning, but I honestly needed a nap.
*** Flashback; No POV ***
Jamila
stood in front of the mirror, her stomach began to flutter instantly when her
mother came into the room after Jamila had gotten her dress on. Currently in
the room were her best friends; Ashley, Taylor, Sarah and Kat. They were all
getting themselves together, due to the fact Jamila told the four to keep themselves
occupied rather than ask her numerous of questions.
Jamila’s
cousin, Jenny was also in the room, but she was the only one that was standing
next to Jamila in the mirror along with her mother as well. Tears wanted to
escape Jamila’s eyes instantly but her mother stood right in front of the
mirror to get her daughter’s attention.
“Sweetheart,
no crying. This is your wedding day! Save the crying for when you hear ‘You may
now kiss the bride’.” Her mother exclaimed, smiling from ear to ear, trying to
get her daughter to relax.
“Just
think about it, Cody and I have been married for 5 years now, I didn’t cry on
my wedding day, and I don’t want my cousin crying on hers.” Jenny grinned.
Jamila
just looked at her cousin, but rolled her eyes in the process, “Jennifer, I
would be crying with fear if I was marrying him. I know that for a fact.”
Jamila laughed slightly. “Hey Sarah?”
“Yeah
twinny?” Sarah asked, looking at Jamila from her make up station.
“Thank
you for being my person, through all of these years.” Jamila just said out of
the blue. Everyone in the room was confused, excepted Ashley because she knew
the reference as to what she met by her statement, but Sarah just grinned in
place.
“Thank
you for being mine. Now chin up, remember you’re marrying the man of your
dreams.” Sarah smiled wide, fixing my hair a little bit.
“Yeah?
Which one?” Taylor commented from her station.
Everyone
just looked at her with a look that basically saying that that comment was
inappropriate at this very moment.
“Taylor,
that was so stupid of you to say.” Kat laughed, throwing an eyeliner pen at
her.
“I
just wanted her to lighten up! It work didn’t it?” Taylor asked, looking over
at Jamila with a harmless smile.
Jamila
just nodded her head with confident, turning her attention back to the mirror,
Jamila took a deep breath and closed her eyes, giving herself a quick prayer so
she wouldn’t mess up by saying her vows. When the church bells rang, Jamila’s
eyes snapped open immediately, causing Ashley to squeal.
“It’s
wedding time!!!!” Ashley jumped, handing all of the girls their followers, and
Jamila her bouquet.
“Ready
Baby boo?” Taylor asked Jamila while she too, fixed the girl’s hair.
“Ready.”

~~~ My
POV; 12:45pm ~~~
I was rudely awoken by Christina playing
on her iPad mini and getting frustrated at the fact that she couldn’t tap on
the proper color that she wanted. Honestly, I don’t know why Corey spoils this
girl. If she was around me more, I would have given her a coloring book.
Because you know that’s what I grew up with when I was younger.
“Christina Sarah!” I groaned against the
pillow, looking over her when she started to whimper. Here comes the water
works.
“Daddy!” She cried out loud, causing her
face to run red from frustration.
I knew she was going to do that. When
she knows she made me upset, she cries for Corey. I think she knew I was the
tougher parent than he is. I take her iPad away from her, Corey finds a way to
give it back to her. I ground her from going outside to play in her sandbox,
Corey finds a way to let her go outside to play in the sandbox. You catch my
drift right? It’s honestly getting on my nerves.
I heard Corey coming up the steps,
smiling when he walked into the room to see both myself and Christina sitting
up on the bed. He smiled at the both of us and grinned happily as he slid on
the bed.
“What’s wrong Chrissy? Did you wake
mommy up from her nap?” Corey asked, knowing the answer because I secretly
flicked him off.
“Help me!” Christina exclaimed while
holding the device in Corey’s face, then looked over at me.
“Give daddy a minute,” Corey told his
daughter while taking the iPad from her “I was told to tell you, ‘Corey, tell
Jam that we are coming over at 1 today so we can catch up on TV.’.” Corey
elaborated.
I looked at him dumbfounded because I
didn’t even know who the hell he was talking about till he told me that it was
Ashley. Oh dear god.
“I’m just fixing my hair and brushing my
teeth again, I’m not going to change my clothes. They’ve seen me in maternal
clothes.” I shrugged him off while he helped Christina change the color.
I slowly rose to my feet, stretching out
my back while I groaned heavily. Getting exhausted this easily when I wake up
from long naps is not what I imagined when I became a mother. Or just when I turned
into an adult in general. When I was about to walk into the bathroom to get
myself situated, my phone began to ring. I picked up the phone and saw that it
was my former boss; Hunter, or well Triple H for short.
“Hello?” I answered the phone
“Afternoon
Jamila! I have a favor.”
“Hey, Hunter, what’s up?”
“I
was wondering if you and Jenny would be able to come to the final RAW before WrestleMania
and then WrestleMania on Sunday? Your whole family is welcome and if you say
yes, you’re flight seats and everything will be paid for.” Hunter proposed.
It’s been almost four years since I’ve
retired from WWE and it’s been 2 years for Jenny. I’ve been close with the
company ever since I had to leave due to my injury; I was only 23, close to 24
when I was basically forced to retire after completely reinjuring my knee.
“I would love too! But let me get back
to you with Jenny. I just want to make sure she’s not busy. Can I call you back
either later on today or tomorrow?”
“Yes
that’s completely fine! I just had this idea to spark the divas division a bit.
The ‘Give Divas a Chance’ movement is kicking my ass right now.” Hunter complained.
“I saw that on twitter. At least they
could have stepped up like how Kat, Jenny and I did. Ladder matches are what I
live for.”
“And
I completely agree! Alright, juts get back to me when you get the chance to.
Thanks Jamila!”
“You’re welcome Hunter. I’ll talk to you
later!” I grinned then turned around after I hanged up the phone.
“What was that all about?” Corey asked
while he fixed Christina’s clothing.
“Hunter wants Jenny and me on RAW then
at WrestleMania. Everything is paid for if I say yes.” I grinned happily,
looking over at the time when it read 12:57.
Corey automatically agreed, knowing that
he wants to go, mostly because he actually never seen me physically in person
in the ring, just on TV, and I guess he would like for Christina to have her
first wrestling live event with her mommy in the ring. That’s completely fine
with me. I have no problem with that. She just needs to have headphones for the
pyros and stuff.
While I was in the bathroom, the
doorbell began to ding numerous of times but I rolled my eyes knowing that if
they keep ringing the doorbell, I wasn’t going to answer it. I was happy that
we had little televisions all over the place in every other bedroom to show who
was prowling from all over our house. It automatically got my attention when I
heard Kat yell;
“Bitch open the door!” I rolled my eyes,
finishing up brushing my teeth and washing my face.
I walked downstairs, quickly going to
the front door, opening it up to find all of my best friends in front of me.
“Were you and Cody boning? Is that why
you took forever to unlock the door?” Sarah smirked evilly.
“No. I was brushing my teeth and I got held
up on the phone with Hunter. But please come in, all of you savages.” I smiled
stepping out of the way to let everyone come inside.
“Call me a savage again, I’ll beat your
ass.” Kat glared evilly.
~~~~ 6
Hours later ~~~~
“YOU’RE SO BEAUITFUL! GIVE THE WORLD A
SHOW!” Ashley and I sang loudly as we jammed out to the ‘Empire’ soundtrack.
Corey and Amy had left almost 3 hours
ago because he had to go shopping for her graduation stuff and I couldn’t let
all of us go at the same time. So it was just, myself, Sarah, Ashley, Kat and
Christina. We were all now baking some cookies because we got bored after we
finally got caught up on all of our shows… and it literally took 6 hours. Such
lives we have.
“Mommy can I have cookie?” Christina
asked me while she sat on top of the counter and eyed the unbaked cookies.
“We have to bake them first sweetheart,
then you can eat one.” I smiled at her then kissed her cheek.
“Jammy, let the poor child have some of
the cookie dough!” Kat insisted
“No, I’m not letting her get sick. When
she gets older she can.” I grinned, placing all four trays in the oven then shutting
it. Turning around to see all of the girls staring at me with a weird look.
“What?”
“Why aren’t you letting the poor child
live her life?” Sarah looked at me curiously.
“Honestly, if she was my child, I would
have let her have some of the cookie dough.” Ashley stated.
“Well she’s not your child! Get over it!
She’s not going to have any and that’s final!” I shouted, covering my mouth
instantly when I saw Christina jumped, “Chrissy, sweetie I’m sorry.” But it was
too late, she had already ran into the living room.
“Jam, we were kidding….” Sarah pouted
but I stopped her mid-sentence.
“No it’s my fault. Corey does the same
thing with her and I just tend to flip out because there’s so much I can take,”
I sighed heavily but shook my head, “She’s get over it sooner or later when her
dad gets home anyway. She has French lessons later.”
“French lessons?” Kat asked confused.
“Corey is teaching her French so when we
take trips to Quebec over the summer, she’ll know at least some words.”
“I wish my boyfriend can teach me
French…”
“Too bad Katrina.” I grinned, walking
over to the fridge to get a bottle of orange juice.
“Fuck you Jammy, fuck you.” She seethed quietly.
While the cookies were baking in the
oven, we were all sitting in the living room trying to figure out what in the
world are we going to watch before the guys get home. As we were browsing throw
Netflix movies, I decided that it was the best time to text Jenny and ask her
if she was up for the whole RAW and WrestleMania reunion.
‘Hey
Jen, Hunter wanted to know if you’ll be okay with coming to RAW on Monday and
then Sunday at WrestleMania? I told him that I’ll be up for the opportunity. If
you say yes, then all the expenses will be paid for! Just let me know what you
want to do!’
I pressed the sent button and placed my
phone on the nightstand that was next to the couch. When they were still
browsing, I saw that they had a few lifetime movies on there and I gasped.
“Can we watch Lizzie Borden?”
“Jammy, you have a three year old.” Kat
looked at me with a dumb look.
“Mommy can we watch Frozen?” Christina
spoke up.
I turned and looked at the other girls
who just nodded their heads that it was fine. I was hoping and praying that
Chrissy wouldn’t be obsessed with the whole ‘Frozen’ concept, but sadly she is.
Ashley had gotten up to place the movie in the DVD player, just as the timer to
the cookies went off. Which made me flinch by the way... I got up from the
couch, along with Sarah as well. I knew damn well she didn’t want to help with
the cookies; she wanted to have one to eat. Savage.
Using the oven mittens, I opened the
oven and took two trays out while Sarah did the same with the other oven. I’m
so happy that my mom suggested that we get double ovens just in case of
anything. I sighed heavily while I placed all of the cookies on the cooling
rack. Sarah helped as well, smiling in the process. I swear she can never stop
smiling. As we continued to place the last of the cookies onto the cooling
rack, Christina had come over to the kitchen and asked for some water.
Oh man, next thing you know, in a few
years, she’s going to be asking for wine. Oh dear god.

Taylor’s POV in LA ~~~~
Okay so, I decided to head back home
because I technically didn’t need to be in Chicago until next week. I had
already made plans, so everything that I need to do when I get there are set.
While I was in bed, looking over some stats from the previous games, I rolled
my eyes knowing that soon enough; the guys are going to get yelled at. And this
time, not by me.
Ever since Carter and Richards were put
on this team a couple years ago, I thought, oh my god, they are going to fuck
it up for us. But then, after winning the cup, I was so surprised at them. But
I still don’t like them till this day, so don’t get your hopes up. Rachel had
died a couple years ago as well, so that pretty much hit everyone. She was like
the mother of the group, actually being a mother to Trevor and all; we all
basically lost a family member.
I sighed softly as I closed my MacBook
and got off the bed. Walking out of the room, I went downstairs into the
kitchen, stopping instantly when I heard laughter. I poked my head into the
living room to see that Dustin had invited some of the guys over for a poker
night. Rolling my eyes, I walked into the living room and stood there.
“What are you goofs doing?” I looked at
them while shaking my head.
“Playing poker. Do you want to play?” My
cousin, Drew Doughty said while sipping his water.
“I’m good thanks. I think you guys
should be working on getting your grooves back because we need to win that cup
this year! Listen, we play the Hawks soon, and I don’t want to lose to those
assholes. I will not hear the end of it, so stop fucking playing poker and work
on strategies!” I shouted, stomping my foot furiously on the floor.
“Taylor… what the hell is wrong with
you?” Dustin asked, actually very concerned right now.
Should I tell him? Or should I wait…? I
don’t think right now is the best time, mostly because I literally just shouted
that shit out, out of nowhere. Now I feel bad for shouting at them.
“I’m sorry guys. I didn’t mean too.” I
quickly apologized, picking with my fingernails.
“It’s okay Taylor… just tell us, what
the matter is? Why are you going crazy?” Quick asked me.
“Nothing, I’m just tired, and cranky.” I
smiled briefly.
And pregnant…
