Accidents Can Happen...

Waking up the next morning, I groaned when I heard banging on the front door. Not that many people knew where my hotel room was except my cousin, the girls and also Stephanie and Hunter. Getting up from the couch, I stepped over Kat and Sarah, and slowly made my way to the door. Passing the clock that was on the microwave, I groaned louder because it was literally the ass crack of dawn.

Walking over to the door, I unlocked it, not bothering to look through the peephole and opened the door; automatically being yelled that by none other than Heather.

“Who the hell invited you here?!” Heather yelled.

I just groaned internally while looking at Heather. This was so unnecessary, it’s the ass crack of dawn and I have to listen to this nonsense so early in the morning. Does she not know what sleep is? I didn’t even realize she was asking me a question until she started snapping in my face. Really…?

“I’m talking to you!”

“And I’m zoning you out. Listen, we have all the time in the world to fight and shit. I finally was able to get some rest, I miss my husband and daughter, and seeing your face is making me want to want Shrek.” I rolled my eyes, laughing to myself when Heather’s jaw dropped.

When she shrieked, turned on her heel and walked away, I simply just waved my fingers and gently closed the door behind me, not wanting to wake up the girls. Turning around, I yelped due to the fact that Kat was standing behind me, I’m guessing she heard the whole thing, so that mean I don’t have to waste my time telling her what happened.

“Tea?” Kat smiled, holding out the tea cup for me to take.

Thank god she remembers I love drinking tea so early in the morning when people are annoying me.

“Yes, please.” I

~~~~ Taylor’s POV in Los Angeles ~~~~
So, I have officially been told that I am now 2 months pregnant, and also… the Kings aren’t making the playoffs either. Isn’t this grand? When you’re hoping for another playoff run, boom, shit hits the fan. Walking around the condo in a tank top and sweatpants, I groaned still at the morning sickness I had just experienced minutes prior.
Dustin was out with the team at the Staple Center, having their last team morning skate of the season. Just thinking about it makes me emotional. Grabbing my MacBook, I logged on to the computer and decided to check up on everyone. Ever since I officially moved to California, I sadly had begun to lost touch with the girls and I feel bad.
I used to be with them practically 24/7 and now I feel like a ghost. The only times I can actually see them is certain weekends when I’m not busy, and also when Chicago or Kings have a home and away game against each other. Sighing as I logged into my social media accounts, I saw a few messages from Sarah, Ashley and Kat. None from Jammy because well I already talk to her on the phone enough times that I know our friendship isn’t drifting.
I did know that everyone was here for the return on RAW, but all I could do was watch it from home. I would have enjoyed watching my friends kick the shit out of everyone, but at last, I couldn’t, I hate being sick and well pregnant for that matter. Deciding to turn on the TV and put on Netflix, I sighed happily due to the fact that I was only on season 2 of Gossip Girl and not further. Bless the heavens above.
Middle of episode 3, I heard the front door beginning to jiggle. Looking over at my security cam, I smiled noticing that it was my loving husband, Dustin.
“Tay!” Dustin called from the front door. I heard bags, so I really hope he brought food.
“In the bedroom! Did you bring food?” I asked quickly pausing Netflix.
“Yeah, I got In-N-Out.”
This is why he’s my husband. Throwing the covers off of me, I quickly left the room and went downstairs. Not even paying attention to what I was doing, I tripped over the first step and began tumbling down the steps. The last thing I heard was Dustin calling my name till my eyes flew shut and everything went black.
~~~~ Corey’s POV in Chicago ~~~~

It feels weird waking up to not hearing Jamila’s snores and Christina’s cries for her mother’s bacon. I guess this is what fatherhood feels like when the mother is out and about. Looking at the clock, I realized that I have to be at the United Center in less than an hour. I wasn’t looking forward to getting ready to play against St. Louis. For some reason, I’m just not feeling it at much as I wanted to, but looks like I have to tough it out I guess.

Getting out of bed, I quickly shot Jamila a good morning text and hopped into the shower. Tonight was going to be weird because my family isn’t going to be in the crowd. At least I was able to get a good luck reward before we split. After a good 20 minutes in the shower, I walked out with a towel around my waist and reentered my room, just to find Amy inside, texting on her phone.

“Amy!” I shouted, causing her to jump off the bed.

Covering her eyes, Amy groaned “Why don’t you have clothes on?!”

“I just came out of the shower, you idiot. What are you doing in here?”

“Jammy wants to know if you gave Chrissy her medication, yet.” Amy told me.

“Um, obviously not. Why don’t you go give it to her?” I rolled my eyes, when Amy nodded her head and left my room to go give Christina her medicine.
AU
Ever since she was just a year old, Christina started acting out a lot. Asking questions, covering her ears at games and even throwing tantrums a lot. We went to the doctors to make sure that she everything is okay, but we were told that she Autism. Something that ran in Jamila’s family because of her little brother. And from here on out, Christina has been taking medication to reduce the risk of seizures and fainting.

The only thing is, no one, expect this household, my family and Jamila’s family know about Christina’s condition. After tightening my tie, I grabbed my phone and went downstairs. Christina was bouncing on the couch and eating her cereal, I’m guessing that’s the substitute for home cooked meal. Telling Christina and Amy goodbye, I left the house with all of my belongings and made my way to the arena, hoping and praying no one knows that I’m a bit late.

~~~~ My POV in Los Angeles ~~~~
I was glad that Hunter told Kat, myself and Jenny we didn’t need to be back till WrestleMania. Literally having a long few days to ourselves is something that we all needed. Mostly me, because having a 3 year old is exhausting.
Kat, Sarah, Ashley and myself were watching Grey’s Anatomy and getting emotional because one of our favorite characters had just died. I don’t what it is, but after that scene, I had a strange feeling that something bad just happened. I don’t know what it was.
Suddenly my phone began ringing. I groaned aimlessly because I didn’t feel like getting up, but I had to anyway. Looking at the incoming call after I walked over to the ringing device, I furred my eyebrows, not knowing why Dustin was calling me. Because it’s extremely not usual that Dustin calls.
“Hello Brownie.” I smiled, answering the phone.
“It’s Taylor! She- She fell and I don’t kn-”
I wasn’t even 100% sure what Dustin was even saying, so I literally told him to calm the hell down and repeat what he just said.
“Taylor. She was coming down the steps, and she slipped! There was so much blood, oh my god…” Dustin frantically said.
“What hospital?!”
“Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.”
After he told me the hospital, I turned to the girls who were in shock as much as I was. But I was still in a state of shock because my best friend literally was in the hospital and she could have just lost her baby…
“Jam?” Sarah asked me.
“What’s going on?” Kat asked me next.
“Taylor got into an accident… she uh,” I started to explain while getting my stuff together “She fell down the steps. Son of a bitch, where is my phone!?” I yelled, becoming more panic than usual.
“Calm down! Sarah go get the keys and Ashley just stay here. We’ll let you know if everything is okay.” Kat said, gripping my shoulders and telling me to calm down.
I couldn’t calm down, all I could think about right now is if my best friend is even alive and if she still had her precious little human.
***
Running into the hospital after almost 45 minutes of driving, I went straight to the front desk and instantly asked for Taylor Brown. Going to the directions that were instructed to me, I quickly ran down a few hallways, Sarah and Kat trying to catch up with me at the same time as well.
When I saw Taylor’s room number, I went into the room, ignoring the nurses that were telling me to stay out of the room and gasped when I saw Taylor. I covered my mouth knowing the worse, I hated this feeling, and I hated all of it. Kat and Sarah were talking to Dustin, asking him what the hell even happened to Taylor.
“D-Dustin…” Taylor whispered softly, her eyes slowly beginning to open.
I didn’t say anything, I wanted Dustin to be the first person she sees when she opened her eyes fully.
“I’m here Taylor” Dustin said, holding Taylor’s hand tightly around his.
“What happened? Is the baby okay?”
To be continued…
Rekindle the Flames
Corey had gotten up earlier than usual to head to the UC for the Hawks morning practice. He had made enough noise while getting ready, enough noise that I had to throw a pillow at his head, telling him to keep it down. Taken that it’s April, it was getting closer and closer to my older sister’s birthday. I was gonna wish her a happy birthday because well, she’s a big time actress now and she hardly has time for family, eh fine with me. Christina has a lot of aunts to spend time with. I was pretty sure that Corey said that he was taking Christina with him to the morning skate, so I just waved my hand and told him that it was completely fine.
Amy had came into my room telling me that she was going to leave for her 8ams. Poor thing, I remember having 8ams, just had one the first semester of my college year and that was it. Thank god. At least I have the house to myself till a complaining husband and a hyper 3 year old comes home. Oh this is wonderful.
~~~~ Corey’s POV ~~~~

If I have to honestly hear Shaw’s voice again, I swear I’m going to lose it. He’s a great kid, but holy shit, sometimes, he just needs to hush. We were in the middle of skating when I heard Christina calling me over. I quickly skated over to her, taking my mask off and looked at her with a smile.

“Yes Christina?” I looked at her, squirting the water into my mouth from the water bottle.

“Daddy can I skate? I have my skates on. Please can I skate?!” Christina bounced on the bench excitedly.

I looked over at Coach Q, and he just nodded his head saying that it’s okay. I felt bad that I was letting her in and the distrusting the practice. But the fact that Joel was fine with it, at least put a smile on Christina’s face. I opened up the bench, letting her know that it’s okay to come onto the ring, having her put a helmet and some gloves on, Hossa had given her an extra one of his sticks, making Christina smile.

“Daddy, can I shoot over there?” She asked pointing at the goal post I want at previously.

“No, no. You don’t shoot in daddy’s goal, you shoot in Darling’s.” I whispered to her, placing her gently on the ice and helped her skate around a bit.

I helped Christina skate down the rink, helping her with the puck well, even helping her shoot the puck also. Just as she was about to shoot the puck, Darling had ‘pulled a muscle’ and laid down on the ice, giving Christina shoot the puck into the net.

“Yeah do that during a game, I have your ass pulled so fast.” Joel told Darling as he skated around the net, causing the guys around us to laugh.

“Alright Chrissy, go ahead and sit back down on the bench, we have to finish practice okay?” I told Christina, helping her back on the bench so she can sit down.

Since I’ve gotten up this morning, I’ve been dreading this day since our win against the Kings a couple nights ago. I mean, at least I’m starting tonight, that’s all that matters. But I really don’t want to be face to face with Bieksa again. I have no patience at all for him at this point from the many times him, Jamila and myself had gone back and forth years ago. I didn’t see the point of that. Any of that for that matter. It was just a huge waste of time if you ask me.

I seriously hope that today runs smoothly for the game tonight, I don’t want shit going down and Jamila getting mad at me. That’s the last thing I need on my list, is my own wife mad at me.

After practice, I decided to invite Darling over to my house, since he has never actually spoken to Jamila yet. But he and Christina has great chemistry and it makes me happy knowing that Christina isn’t ‘mad’ at Darling because he started the last game. Poor girl is so sensitive it’s unbelievable. I’m glad that she gets that from her mother.

~~~~ My POV ~~~~
It’s been almost four hours since Corey had left for the morning skate, all of the girls, Ashley, Kat, and Sarah were all here. Well, Taylor too, but she was on skype. And she had to leave for her OB/GYN appointment. Poor thing has been going crazy since she found out that she was pregnant. She complained and complained about how she’s going to get fat. Poor thing doesn’t know that when she hits at least five or six months pregnant, everything will at least be smother. Well I mean, it didn’t for me because I was stressed the fuck out.
All of us were sitting in our usual spots, outside in my backward with the fire going and sitting on the couches, I honestly don’t know why we had the fire going, but it was peaceful. While we were talking, Sarah had went into the kitchen to grab a few snacks and drinks. I’m surprised that she knew where everything was in my kitchen. She’s been here too long now. I would rearrange everything, but I can’t, my OCD will go nuts.
“So, are you ready for tonight?” Sarah asked when she came back outside with the food tray.
“Ready for what exactly?” I asked looking up at her and taking the cup of tea that I had asked for.
“Tonight’s game! You’re going to see Kevin again after so many years!” Kat smirked, her eyebrows dancing a bit.
“What…? I spoke to him like a few days ago.” I rolled my eyes, carelessly flicking her off.
“How?” Ashley looked at me curiously.
“Skype. I was talking to his baby brother, Trevor and Kevin just came out of nowhere but we talked. Trevor’s wife is hot, I just have to point that out.” I shrugged my shoulders a bit.
“Did you tell her that?” Ashley asked.
“Duh.” I laughed, causing everyone else to laugh.
Oh man, I love these moments with the girls. While we continued our conversation, I heard giggling sounds along with deep voices. I knew that automatically, that Christina and Corey were both home. But the last voice was very… strange. I don’t know the last voice.
“Mommy, mommy, mommy! I saw Uncle Kevin and I practiced with daddy!!” Christina came running outside and stood in front of me.
“That’s great honey!” I smiled, but looked inside and over back at her, “Where’s daddy?” I asked.
“Inside with Darling.” She responded.
“Who?” I asked, looking over at Sarah and Kat.
“The new backup goalie? He played in the Kings game?” Sarah looked at me confused at my question.
“Jam!” Corey called from the kitchen.
“Stay with your aunties,” I said to Christina and went inside to the kitchen, jumping instantly when I saw, I guess Darling. “Holy balls, you’re tall.” I whispered when I saw him.
“And you’re short.” Scott said to me, which caused me to glare at him.
“Okay, I just want to say, don’t call me short, and second, I know people from AHL, I can have your ass sent back to the Icehogs faster than the speed of light and have you replaced with Raanta. Got it sweetcheeks?” I smiled carelessly.
“Jammy, don’t be rude.” Corey said to me, throwing a towel at my face.
“He called me short! And I don’t even know him!” I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes, putting the towel on the counter. “Disrespecting me in my own house, fuck you think this is.” I whispered softly, “But why did you call me in here?”
“After practice was finished today, Christina walked away from me, and I freaked out because I didn’t know where she was, so I went into the Canucks locker room because there was a lot of noise coming from there, and there she was, living it up with Bieksa in the locker room along with Burrows.” Corey snarled.
“What’s wrong with that? They’re basically family to her. Hell, even the Kings are family to her. You know, when I allow her into their locker room. They tend to give her Kings stuff and I just don’t approve.” I looked at him.
“So you’re okay with her having Canucks and Rangers gear, but when it comes to the Kings, you won’t let her wear it?” Corey looked at me confused.
“Why yes, of course. Her closet is basically ‘Crawford’ central. She needs to adventure herself.” I told him, then turned to Darling. “Are you thirsty? I forgot to ask.”
“Water is okay, thanks.” Scott smiled and handed him a water bottle.
I told Corey that I was going to go back outside with the girls before they had to leave to be with their boyfriends and husband. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and waved goodbye at Scott. Because I know damn well they are going to go downstairs into the basement to work out. Oh goalies.
~~~~ Kevin’s POV ~~~~~

“So how’s it feel to see Christina?” Burrows asked me randomly.

Burrows, Miller and myself we all out having lunch after our morning skate ended, and I was eating my macaroni when Burrows asked me that question. I just looked at him and had some thought in my head thinking that I know some way and somehow that Christina is mine. But I just pushed the thought aside and settled with the god uncle title. I’m surprised that Jamila even thought about asking me to be the god uncle for her first child. After all we’ve been through, I’m thankful that she still has some heart deep down inside.

“I saw her a couple days ago before we came down here.” I told him, swallowing my food and taking a drink of my water.

“Okay, isn’t she like a huge goalie lover?” Miller spoke curiously about Jamila.

I just shrugged my shoulders. I’m pretty sure she likes other people more than goalies. Just putting that out there, but I mean it guess it doesn’t matter or it just should matter as much because we aren’t together anymore. Whatever I guess, I got over it… a year later when Christina turned a year old.

“Guys, really, it’s no big deal. I got over it and she’s happy. If she’s happy, I’m happy. Jamila is one of my best friends. Nothing is going to change.”

I hope.

I basically just lied to myself.

~~~~ My POV; 3 Hours till game time ~~~~
Amy offered to get Christina ready while I got myself ready. Getting my combat boots out from the closet and my fuzzy socks, I checked my leggings and jersey once again before I left the bedroom. I smiled when I saw Christina running out of her room, Amy following suit and I chuckled when Christina stood in front of me with Crawford’s jersey and also with a goalie mask that I have no clue where she had gotten that from. So I just took it off her head and placed it on the nightstand.
“Mommy, is it time to see daddy?” Christina asked; Amy placing her hair in a ponytail.
“Yes sweetie. First, we have to wait for your aunties to get here. I don’t know why they’re always la-” Before I could finish my sentence, the doorbell began to ring. “Well look at that, they’re here.” I rolled my eyes, mostly to myself.
I picked up my boots and made my way downstairs, opening the front door and smiled when I saw my best friends. I told them that I had to drive my car because I forgot that all of us can’t fit in Kat’s car. Especially since Christina is still her car seat.
“Which luxury car are you taking to the game this time Jam?” Sarah asked, with a gentle smile.
“The Rover. You can drive with me if you want. I’m putting Amy with Kat because she’s annoying me.” I told Sarah but that caused Kat to glare.
“It’s my car, why do I have to suffer with masturbator.” Kat glared, crossing her arms over her chest.
“I would love to continue this conversation, but we really need to go before someone takes our reserve parking spots.” Ashley spoke up, raising her hand, obviously showing that she’s impatient.
“Mommy, will I see Uncle Kevin?” Christina asked while I put my shoes on.
“That poor child.” Kat whispered.
“Katrina!” I hissed.
“Don’t full name me.” She glared, wanting to flick me off, but Christina was looking at her.
“If Uncle Kevin isn’t busy, then yes, you can see him.” I told Christina, and afterwards telling her to go into the car and into her car seat.
After I set the alarm for the house and closed the door behind me, I told Amy that she’s going to be with Kat and Ashley. Sarah just hopped into my car and into the passenger seat, I don’t know why, she should have sat in the back, but whatever! On the drive to the arena, Christina was asking questions nonstop to how Corey and I met and how Kevin and I met as well. For a 3 year old, she sure as hell asks a lot of questions. For some much unknown reason.
After the 20 minute drive from my house to the arena, we had arrived at the United Center. Thank god we were able to still park in the back, and still have our parking spots reserve as always. Would like to thank Joel for hooking us up with this VIP parking. As we parked both cars, I got out of mine and went to the back to get Christina out of the car as well.
“Sweet Jesus I have to pee.” Ashley groaned when she hop out of Kat’s car, immediately running into the building. Christina following behind her.
“Christina go straight to the locker room!” I called out, sighing when she had disappeared into the building afterwards.
“That little girl asked so much questions, I swear, I was witnessing a lie detector test.” Sarah told Kat, her face dropping in the process.
“Did she ask who her real dad is?” Kat gasped.
I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at Kat with squinted eyes. “Why are you so dead set on who Christina’s dad is when it’s obvious that she’s Corey’s?”
“Because DNA and science can really fuck up in the process. Who knows, you may have a little bit of Bieksa floating around in your va-”
“KAT!” Sarah and I yelled, making her jump slightly.
“Okay, like I said, you may never know.” Kat muttered and quickly ran inside the building.
“Bless her soul.” Sarah shook her head, laughing while we walked into the building afterwards.
~~~~ 1st Intermission ~~~~

I was so angry, angry isn’t even the word, I’m fuming, outraged, livid! During the game, I guess Kevin thought it would be amazing to slam himself purposely into Corey. I know damn well that that wasn’t an accident. He had enough time to stop! I’m pretty sure with the damn distance he was skating, he could have turned or something, I don’t fucking know! But this is really frustrating.

Ashley, Amy, Sarah, Kat, Christina and I were all making our way into the Hawks locker room and when we walked in, it was dead silent. I looked over at Corey’s stall just to find out that he wasn’t even there.

“Where’s Corey?” I asked everyone.

“Medical room.” Shaw said.

I told Christina to go sit next to Hossa, because she just loves to be around him when Corey isn’t around or when he’s just busy in general. I went into the room where my husband was being checked, and I saw a huge bruise on his stomach, causing me to gasp suddenly.

“Are you okay? Is he okay? Please tell me that he’s okay?!!” I asked frantically, looking from the doctor to Corey.

“I’m okay… Jamila… just a bit… shaken up.” Corey said breathlessly.

“I’m going to kill him. That’s it, I’m going to jail for murder.” I flew my hands in the air.

“He served his penalty time, its fine.” He said, more drained than ever.

“I don’t care! He purposely did it!” I shouted, but stopped myself.

I turned on my heel and left the medical room, through the Hawks main locker room area and stormed out of the room. My name was being called left and right, but right now I was seeing red right now. I’m going to kill him. I’m literally going to put him in a chokehold and damage Kevin.

When I entered the Canucks visiting locker room, I heard laughter and chuckles from the guys and someone speaking up and saying;

“You slayed Crawford holy shit!”

“I bet that really pissed off ‘Capitan Serious’!”

I growled while I was listening from the outside and I stormed into the room, causing everyone to stop what they’re doing and look over at me with a confused look. I didn’t pay attention to any of them, but instantly laid my eyes on Kevin.

“You. Outside. Now!” I told me him sternly. But he didn’t budge.

“Just say it here, we all know that you’re going to bitch at me.” Kevin rolled his eyes, standing up to walk over to me.

 Huffing while he stood in front of me, I smiled sickly and crossed my arms, standing up straight without fear. I’ve always been taught to never hold back anything, so here we go.

“You have some fucking nerve, charging at my husband like you had some kind of mission to damage him! Yes, I know that hockey is a tough sport, but since you have some balls, what the fuck gives you the right to do something like that?! You’re a fucking animal-”

“Jamila, seri-”

“Shut up! I’m talking!” I told him, more pissed off than ever. “You fucking animal, I swear to god, you are crazy! My daughter was watching! You know what…. I don’t want you around Christina. Unless you know how to fucking act, don’t come around me or my family!” I shouted, but suddenly I was tugged back, just as I was about to swing and punch whomever just pulled me back, I saw that it was Richards.

I sighed heavily when he shoved me out of the room and huffed in annoyance. Before you ask, Richards and I are best friends when I was living in New York and when he was playing in New York. When I officially moved to Chicago, I tried to make the run to Rangers games as much as I could with Crawford and I was able to go to at least 4 or 5 home games. When the hawks didn’t have any games of course.

When we left the Canucks locker room, Richards stopped me in the hallway before we could go back into Hawks locker room.

“Jamila what was that?” He glared at me furiously.

“Did you not see what happened?!” I shouted.

“Okay one, you need to calm down and two, you need to get used to it. Its hockey, people are going to get hurt and you’re going to have to deal with it. It’s not like Corey isn’t returning to the game. Chill out and stop causing trouble. Last thing we all need, is an angry mother running around threatening to kill people.” Richards explained to me, flicking me on the forehead.

I sighed heavily, muttering that that had hurt and crossed my arms over my chest. I just nodded my head and rolled my eyes, knowing that my anger got the best of me, but still… I’m going to kill him.

***

After the game had finished, all the girls were waiting in the parking lot for the guys to come out of the locker room. Standing in the parking lot, Christina was jumping up and down being the energetic 3 year old she is and I just sighed. I’ve been doing that a lot lately. But I knew I shouldn’t have allowed Sharp to give her ice cream during the second intermission. While we were talking, Christina had yelled ‘Uncle Kevin!’ really loud and ran over to him. I looked over at Kevin and glared furiously.

I’m still pissed off at what he did during the first period, but I just had to suck it up and get over it. I was just going to let Christina have her moment because trust me, this is going to be the last time she will ever see Kevin again… Except her birthday, I tend to invite everyone to her birthday party. Even the kids from her daycare, they just love coming over to play in her playroom.

When the guys came out of the back door, I smiled when I saw Corey, walking out in his lovely suit that I love so much. Walking over to him, I wrapped my arms around his waist and pecked his lips softly.

“Hello, you bum, how are you feeling?” I smiled playfully.

“I’m tired and I need to go to bed,” Corey chuckled softly, “Christina Sarah, let’s go!” Corey told Christina.

Watching Christina wave at Kevin and Alex Burrows, she came running over to her dad and held her arms up so she can be lifted.

“Christina sweetie, we told you about being lifted, no more,” I told her and then turned to my friends, telling them that I’ll see them tomorrow at the airport 6 o’clock sharp in the morning.

Tomorrow is the day we all get to travel back to my old job. Stepping foot in the ring again is something I never knew would happen. When I last encounter with Phillip, CM Punk, he told me to stay away as far as I could. And I thought, yeah that’s pretty much what I need to do. But, I missed my opportunity at WrestleMania and hell yeah, I was pissed. Jenny was able to have her WrestleMania moment, but I couldn’t. She was able to have it before she retired.

As the girls got into their guys cars and drove away, before Amy left with Shaw, I told her to call me when she gets back to his house. I wasn’t playing when I told her to always check it. I have seriously rules, don’t break them.

~~~~ 6 a.m. ~~~~
I forgot how much I hated waking up this early to go to the next state or just traveling in general. I forgot how it felt to always be on a plane 24/7 while traveling. Now I can see why I retired. Well… was forced to retire. Still love it. But anyway, we were told to go to a specific location because Hunter had given us a private plane to fly to California. This is great, I’m looking forward to seeing my old workers again and even hang out with Taylor too! After the flight workers placed our bags in our respected location on the jet, we all boarded the wonderful private luxury, causing Amy to gasp.
“Oh my god, Jamila, you used to get this kind of treatment?” Amy looked at me with a shocked expression.
“No.” Kat and I responded with a laugh, sitting in some seats which caused Christina to wake up.
“Daddy are we there yet?” She asked, her tired expression showing completely.
“Honey, we only left the house.” Corey laughed softly, placing Christina in her seat and buckling her seat. Giving the toddler her milk.
“Alright, so Bubbles, once we arrive at the hotel, we are instructed to go pick up Jenny and meet at a coffee shop because Stephanie has to talk to us about a few things.” I told Kat.
“Can we get coffee though?”
“Yes we can get coffee, frigging addict.” I rolled my eyes and laughed when she flicked me off.
As Kat and I continued to get work out the plans for the day, we were suddenly told to put on our seatbelts and I just sat back in my seat and relaxed a bit. The girls were sitting on one side and their respected husband and boyfriends were on the other side. I feel like this is prom. Who’s going to ask who to dance first?! Yup, that’s how it feels like. Christina was with Corey, I didn’t mind at all, she needed to be around him more because once he has to be away for the playoffs, poor thing is going to go nuts. It’s been 3 years and she hasn’t gotten used to it yet.
At least when all of us are together, the girls and I always have something to talk about, and this time, I might actually love this topic of conversation.
“So Jammy,” Sarah started after she had taken a sip of her juice “Are you ready to see Heather and kick her ass?”
“Oh my god, you’re going to see Heather?” Ashley gagged.
“Yeah, we’re making a huge surprise appearance. Literally no one knows that we’re coming. Not even Cody.” I told them, referring to Cody Rhodes, well Stardust, my cousin’s husband.
“I’m getting so excited because now, I get to kick her ass without feeling bad!” Kat bounced in her seat just a bit. Causing all of us to laugh.
I just have to point out, that I really enjoy times like these with the girls, because who knows, when I start working again and Sarah goes back to work, I don’t know how/when we’ll be able to do girl time anymore. Christina is so hooked on seeing the girls’ everyday it’s going to kill her when they are going to become busy. But it’s not going to affect me as much because I’ll be able to call them whenever.
“Mommy, I have to go potty.” Christina told me, not even realizing that she had gotten out of her seat.
I looked at her and over at Corey who was passed out along with the other guys and I just shook my head. Men. Getting up from the seat, I walked Christina to the bathroom and told her to be careful. Jets and planes bathrooms can be weird sometimes.
***
That probably the most relaxing flight I’ve ever been on in my life. I don’t know what it is, but with the guys fallings asleep and waking up numerous of times, I held Christina and Corey’s hands while we got out of the jet. We were met with Jenny and the power couple. I thought we would have to get Jenny from her hotel, but I guess not. Thank god though, because I didn’t feel like driving all over the place.
Kat and I approached Hunter, Stephanie and Jenny, while the other packed up and filled into 3 cars. For a lot of people, I don’t think it’s natural to have one car filled with luggage and the other filled with just us. Thank god we didn’t bring everyone with us. God knows how it would be if all of the Hawks players came; that would have been a huge unforgettable time.
“So, we’re going to have you guys in a hotel room, all rooms have been paid for, for the people you’ve provided to me. Its 20 minutes from the arena. So when it’s time for the diva’s promo, I will tell you, 30 minutes ahead of time to get here so you’ll have 10 minutes to prepare yourself.” Stephanie instructed the three of us.
“Now, the promo is with the Bella Twins, Heather and also Paige and AJ. So, you guys are just going to come out when Heather says ‘we’re the most dominate Divas of all time.’ Then boom!” Hunter shouted, causing me to jump, “Whatever music you guys want, it’ll hit and from there, you go ahead and think of anything you want. You three are extreme former divas, along with Lita herself. So we aren’t giving you lines or anything. Just…avoid certain words.”
“This is going to be great!” I squealed, jumping up and down, and cling to my cousins’ arm.
“I think we should use my song.” Jenny insisted.
“No.” Kat and I responded.
“No Luke Bryan. Don’t even try it.” Kat told her.
After we had concluded the little meeting at the airport, we headed to the location of the wonderful ‘5 star hotel’ that we’ll be staying in for the rest of the week. I wasn’t trying to sit stay in the room all day of course because I have no patience, and because we have a 3 year old with us, I know she’s going to be asking to go to the pool and whatnot.
~~~~ Monday Night RAW; NO POV ~~~~

Jenny, Jamila and Kat were all in the Cadillac that was provided to them from the power couple to be escorted at the arena, 30 minutes before the promo. The rest of the crew were already seated in the crowd, front row reserved seats and all of the good stuff that were all provided to them. Jamila mostly had all the nerves because this is the first time she’s going to be stepping into the WWE ring and basically a WWE arena ever since 2011 when she sustained an injury and retired months prior her injury.

Kat was able to live her dreams after she retired when she finally wanted to settle down with Patrick. Jenny, well, she just wanted to go back to Louisiana and be with her family more and take care of the ranch that she had started after she had retired as well. The emotions all three of the girls were feelings was out of this world that they just couldn’t hide it anymore.

Just as they arrive backstage at the arena, all three ladies walked out of the luxury car and smiled wide. Nothing was ruining their night. The Three Musketeers back together for this one week only. No one knew was happening except the Hunter and Stephanie.

Kat was the first one to speak up, standing in front of Jenny and Jamila, she smiled wide, “Are you chicas ready!?”

“Let’s do this!” Jenny exclaimed.

“Let’s go kick some ass!” Jamila jumped on her heel.

As the three ladies walked into the arena, the expressions of everyone made the ladies feel fearless. The amount of shock that is going through everyone doesn’t even phase the three one bit. As they approached the curtain to the entrance ramp, Jenny had told them to play her old theme song. Mostly because there’s a chance that no one will know who/what to expect when they hear Jenny’s old song. But before they were signaled to walk out, Jenny, Kat and Jamila all watched the promo on the television screen.

“What makes you two original? We’ve had better divas than you two losers.” Nikki Bella told AJ and Paige. Causing her twin sister and Heather to laugh.

“Because seriously? You both aren’t as beautiful, sexy, smart and talented as we are.” Brie grinned.
“You three aren’t nothing but Barbie dolls. I remember having my first Barbie doll, I tore their heads off of them. All of them.” AJ said with a scary smile on her face.

“Just face it, you bitches will never be as dominate as myself and the Bella’s. We’re the most dominate divas of all time! And if you don’t like it, you can kiss our as-”

Before Heather could finish her sentence, Jenny’s music instantly started playing. The three waited a good minute or two and walked through the curtains, and the crowd instantly went crazy. Jenny, Kat and Jamila all looked around the arena seeing everyone cheering, and screaming, it made them realize how much they’ve missed the excitement of this amazing crowd and just WWE in general.

When Kat lifted the microphone up to talk, she stopped when the crowd had gotten louder. After a couple seconds and the crowd shutting up, Kat was able to finally speak.

“Now Heather, Bella’s; I’m gonna let you finish, but… We’re,” Pointing to herself, Jenny and Jamila “Are the most dominate divas of all time.”

“Who the hell invited you!?” Brie shouted.

“The Authority,” Jenny smiled as they all entered the ring. “Now, why on earth would you three be top divas? I don’t understand. I’m pretty sure myself and my cousin are 4x divas tag team champions and Kat here is the longest reigning champion in Divas’ history.” Jenny explained as they all entered the ring.

“Wait no! I’m the longe-” AJ spoke up, but Jamila quickly stopped her.

“No, no. AJ, Kat is,” Jamila grinned, stepping in front AJ after saying excuse me and stood in front of Heather. Eyeing her with vengeance. “Hey, remember when I hit you numerous of times with a chair? Over and over and over and over again?” Jamila smirked.

“Jamila, I swear to god, if you don’t leave my ring right now-” But Heather was interrupted by Kat.

“Or what?! What are you going to do? Beat us?” Kat snorted, causing the rest of the girls to laugh, including AJ and Paige themselves.

“Come on girls, we don’t have time for this.” Nikki Bella exclaimed, dropping her mic on the floor and began walking out of the ring.

But even though the five girls currently in the ring thought that Nikki, Brie and Heather were all walking out of the ring, they came charging for Jenny, Kat and Jamila. AJ and Paige had exited the ring prior to this incident and stood outside of the ring.

Jenny fought Nikki, Kat fought Brie and Jamila fought Heather. Each had major hatred for each other and it was just a whole lot of adrenaline building up. Heather was able to gain the upper hand, but Jamila was able to recover fast. Jamila hit Heather with a DDT and knocked Heather out instantly, smirking evilly, Jenny and Kat had gotten into the ring and saw Heather laying on the ground with her eyes closed.

“We still got it.” Kat smiled as the three ladies hugged it out.

Jenny had rolled Heather out of the ring as the Bella’s, AJ and Paige watched, stunned and shocked. Picking up the microphone, Jamila turned to the divas that were on the ramp and said;

“We’ll see you bitches at WrestleMania.” She grinned, sending them a wink and a blow kiss.

Once the music hit, everyone was cheering and screaming just like before. ‘You still got it!’ Chants were all over the place. Celebrating from every turnbuckle,  Jenny, Kat and Jamila all got out of the ring and went to the crowd, seeing that their family and friends were in the crowd; Jamila went over to her husband and daughter, giving them a hug and kiss. Kat doing the same to her husband Patrick.

As they descended back up the ramp and through the curtain the three ladies were automatically approached by applause. With huge smiles on their faces, they thanked everyone for the kindness and welcoming them back with open arms and everything.

“Was that your daughter out there?” Natalya asked Jamila with a gleaming smile on her face.

Jamila nodded her head, telling Natalya everything about her 3 year old daughter Christina and how life is has been since Jamila and the others had retired from the company. The girls loved catching up with everyone that they used to see practically 365 days a year except holidays and well when they were injured.

~~~~ My POV; at the hotel ~~~~
It was a little after 2 in the morning, Corey had to get up to get ready to head back to Chicago along with the other guys because of the home game against St. Louis. Along with the other guys, they were all up and ready to go and I frowned deeply knowing that Christina had to go home as well when Amy had to leave too. I couldn’t keep Christina with me on the road due to the hassle of bags and fans, I couldn’t put our daughter in that type of environment.
I was awake, sitting up against the bedhead while Corey was packing his stuff. I was looking at him the whole time. I think he realized I was when he turned around and gave me a strange look.
“Why are you staring at me?” Corey asked curiously.
“I don’t know, I feel like you’re packing your stuff and leaving me forever but it’s just for a few days till you come back on Sunday.” I chuckled tiredly and got out of the bed, walking over to Corey and fixed his tie.
“I missed almost all of your wrestling career, I am not going to miss you perform on the ‘grandest stand of them all!’” Corey smiled, leaning down to kiss my lips briefly.
We were interrupted when Amy came into the room and immediately closed her eyes when she saw Corey and myself. I just rolled my eyes and brushing her off and asked her what it was that she needed.
“I need to know if Christina sleeps with her nightlight on because when I get home, I don’t want her bothering me at night.” Amy said.
“Yeah she sleeps with it on,” Corey responded then turned to me “We need to grow her out of the nightlight.”
“Okay, but she’s only 3. Don’t crush her dreams till you destroy all of the monsters.” I told him upfront, then stood away from Corey so he can move around again.
After 20 minutes of finishing up gathering his, Christina and Amy’s belongs at the door, I stood by the bedroom door frame with my arms crossed over my chest and smiled tiredly as I watched Christina rubbed her tired eyes.
“Bye mommy. I love you.” She said, hugging my leg with a smile.
“Bye sweetie. I’ll call you later on tonight, I love you too.” I grinned, kissing the top of her head.
Corey walked over to me and gave me a kiss on the lips and told me that he’ll call me later when they land back in Chicago. I told him that I loved him and to make sure that Amy and Christina don’t get lost off and on the plane.
When they walked out of the door, I smiled as I waved goodbye, and closed the door behind them. Walking back to the bedroom, I laid back down on the bed and was about to fall asleep. Just as I was relaxing in the bed, knocking could be heard from my door. Getting up from the bed, I groaned to myself.
“Corey what did you forget?” I sighed, opening the door, but on the other side it was the girls.
“Can we stay here?” Kat asked.
“Yeah. Thank god I have Netflix on my laptop.” I chuckled moving away and watched as Kat, Ashley and Sarah came inside.
I decided to order room service, practically ordering almost everyone on the menu and we all sat on the couch and watched a movie on Netflix. Figures that it’s 2am in the morning, and I guess having girl time would be the best, I just shrugged it off and relaxed.
