And They All Lived Happily Ever After....

.:*:' Last Time on Once Upon A Time… .:*°.

“That’s your child too. She didn’t get that hyper-ness from me, that’s all I know.” I said in return as I began to run my fingers through my husband’s outrageous hair.

“Hey babe?”

“Hmm?”

“Did you know that Sarah and Scott are dating?” Corey asked curiously; which caused me to stop running my fingers in Corey’s hair. I felt his head move a bit, but my eyes were just dead straight set on the wall because I don’t know if I heard that correctly.

“D-Dating?” I blinked a couple of times.

What the hell has my own best friend done this time…?

~~~~
“What the hell do you mean dating?” I asked, my words kind of more stuttering because of this sudden moment.
“Yeah they’ve been dating for a month or two?”
“WHAT THE FUCK!”
“Hey! Jamila, Chrissy is sleeping, watch your month.” Corey looked at me, his voice actually stern and serious after my tone.
“I’m sorry,” I paused, sighing heavily when I reached over to pick up my phone, “Sorry but, you’re about to have a whole lot of females in this condo is less than twenty minutes. Also keep Bella in here, Ashley gets attached rather quickly.” I said, just when I pressed the three numbers into the ‘WAGS’ group chat – even though Sarah was in it, she’s going to be hearing a lot from me.
Best friend and Twinny my ass.
***
After sending the message into the group chat less than 45 minutes ago, we were all currently waiting for Taylor to get on skype. It had been a while since we’ve all spoken to Taylor since she finally had been out of the hospital, but now, it’s sad that this had to be something we all have to come together for. Out of all the things, it just had to be this.
I was currently pacing around the living room and I can tell everyone was just tired and annoyed, well it was 2 am in the morning, so that COULD be a factor as to why everyone was annoyed. But stuff like this happens all the time with us. Last time it was Kat who needed an emergency lingerie picking and sadly Skype was surely and definitely not an option. Once Taylor finally called me on Skype, I was quick to answer.
“Okay baby boo, what’s so important?” Taylor implied, not even getting a hello or something.
“Did y’all know Sarah Ho-pants is dating Scott?” I called out, turning my attention to Sarah, my eyes slightly narrowing at my best friend. More like former best friend. Hiding shit from me – like who does that?! Okay back to reality.
“Yes.” Everyone in the room, even Taylor replied; my mouth gaping in the process.
“How the hell does everyone know but me????”
Kat rolled her eyes, “Oh my god Jamila,” She sighed annoyingly while standing up, making her way into my kitchen to get some champagne. Okay why champagne? Why is she going into my kitchen? How does she know where I keep my shit? I swear, these ladies are no longer invited to my house.
“They started dating when Kris and she called it quits like 8 months ago.” Kat finished, taking out a couple of glasses for everyone.
“She didn’t say anything because you and your very strange addiction for goalies, you might try to slit her throat or something.” Ashley pitched in.
“Also, you probably might ruin your marriage and family to sleep with Darling to get back at Sarah.” Taylor thought. My eyes quickly adverted towards the television screen; my facial expression full of hate that my own best friend would stoop that low to even say something like that.
“Can everyone shut up?!” Sarah whispered, knowing damn well I have a child upstairs who is sleeping and a husband who is always nosy as hell. “I didn’t want to say anything to you because you would try to be the fixer and fix Kris and I. Jam, I wasn’t happy in the relationship when I left for Quantico. When I came back, Kris’ was on my ass 24/7 after it all and I hated every second of it. I know I fucked up. But the constant reminder of it when we would get into a fight, made me sick to my stomach. So I called it quits. I went to Molly’s and had a night to myself. Scott so happened to be there at the same time, we drank, danced, kissed a little bit, and for once, Jammy, for once, I was actually happy. Happy being myself.” Sarah explained to me. Her voice was low, but I felt so bad.
But Sarah was right, I would have become Dr. Phil in a heartbeat and try to save their relationship as much as I could but it really wasn’t any of my business when it came to helping relationships or try to get in between friendships. I tried that before with Taylor and Heather – and that ended up with me taking pills because they just wouldn’t leave me the fuck alone.
I sighed. I felt so bad for calling up everyone into the mix because it was something that I could have called just Sarah for, and now I feel like an idiot.
“I know what you’re thinking Jams,” Sarah pouted playfully when she came over to me and wrapped her arms around me, “You’re not an idiot.” Was all Sarah said just when Kat came into the living room with champagne glasses and some cookies.
“Now, obviously none of us are going back home because of Jamila’s stupid ass,” Kat paused, causing everyone to laugh as she handed out the glasses “We are gonna drink some of this lovely expensive shit that she had in her kitchen and just sleep. Oh and also pregame because the Cup’s coming to Chicago bitches!!!” Kat cheered, causing all of us to get excited and cheer as well.
“JAMMY!”
“MOMMY!”
“Sorry babes!” I giggled softly while downing the rest of my drink in the process.
~~~ Game Six ~~~

Today’s the day. Today’s the day I finally get to experience my team win another Cup. Ending the reign tonight, especially since my hometown boys were screwed last year, but I’ll be damned if I let that crap happen again tonight. I didn’t want anything to pass by tonight and I just wanted today to be filled with cheers and nothing more.

Today, Christina was able to see her dad start tonight after so long and she just couldn’t be happier; wearing her dad’s jersey, chanting his name as she stumbled into the locker room, and just the looks itself from the guys and Coach Q, they were lucky that the kids were here. It was something more of a family reunion because today was extremely a special day and nothing was going to stop these guys from lifting Lord Stanley tonight.

As the guys prepared for their game, Christina decided to take it upon herself to stand in the middle of the locker room, it was something that she loved doing for games, but according to Chrissy this morning, ‘Today was a special one’.

“Hello! Attention, pay attention to me!” Christina called out, which caused Coach Q to tell everyone to stop talking and listen up. “I’m sorry for, for uh bothering you. But today, is silver first place day. I would like to say, thank you Q for letting my daddy play. Uncle Sad (Saad. Poor think still can’t say his name right) stay out of the no-no box, Hoss, you show, you show them who is the Boss and Star (Kaner, this is what happens when she watches SpongeBob before bed)… it’s officially Showtime!” Christina cheered, jumping happily on her toes as she ran over to Corey and me, quickly hopping on my lap to hide her face.

“Awe, Chrissy that was so good!” Kat said, poking her nose. Then all of the other compliments from everyone in the WAGS’ group, the kids and even the teammates as well.

It was just a stressful day, I barley slept last night because Corey was just tossing and turning all night because he was that nervous. I was there when he won the cup the first time, but I wasn’t his…. Well yet anyway. Tonight he’s very anxious to even go to this game tonight. This is the first time he’s going to be playing in front of his wife and kid. Corey was nervous and I can sense it, mostly because he never held my hand as tightly as he did – I didn’t even hold his hand that tight when I was giving birth, so that says something. That says a lot.

After the ladies and kiddos gave their men a good luck kiss, we headed off to our seats. We were all lucky enough to get seats a couple seats behind the Hawks bench and it was great, some were bothered that the family reserved seats for that particular section, but they had to deal with it.

~~~ No POV ~~~
Second period and the game is still, unfortunately scoreless. Everyone in the family rows was extremely antsy. Some were standing; others were bouncing on their seats. Kids were getting impatient and the ladies were all getting annoyed. Kat, Ashley, Jamila and Sarah were all holding hands at this point. The original women didn’t want anything more than to slap some senses into their men. Crawford was doing practically fine.
Well, according to Jamila of course. Every stop Corey made, Jamila let out a small whimper. Letting out a soft prayer every time, hoping he didn’t pull something. Jamila has been there for every other injury Corey has sustained and she just couldn’t bear to see it happen, especially on a night like this.
“There’s 3 minutes left into the period and no one has scored yet! I swear, if this crap ends in overtime I’m going to hurt somebody.” Kat said while drinking her water.
Everyone around us all agreed. It was obvious that everything was just pins and needles at this point and no one wanted this shit to end in Game 7. Even though extended playoffs is great, but we don’t have the time of day for that. And plus, no one wants to go back to Tampa with their disrespectful ass fans and disrespectful ass security.
The guys were finally down in Tampa’s zone, Kane passed the puck to Keith – he shoots and misses. But that didn’t stop him from picking up the rebounding and shooting again – SCORE! The all too familiar horn off, Chelsea Dagger began ringing through the Madhouse and it was just… a delightful feeling. Knowing and seeing the boys doing something. Next, Just 09.4 seconds left and Seabs shot, that ‘Ping!’ sound causing all of us to get excited and groan all over again. Everyone in the crowd was on their feet – it was draining.
“Fucking post!” Sarah called out, but quickly covered her mouth when Chrissy looked up at her aunty “Sorry sweetie.”
Finally the buzzer ends to the signal that the period was over. Just 20 more minutes… 20 more never ending minutes left. At the start of the third period, it was still 1-0. It feels like this was going to be a long 1 to nothing game. The girls hated the fact that any second now, the score could be tied and everyone in the arena is going to be upset – most likely extremely disgusting. Especially since they know that the guys’ families are just sitting here in the crowd.
We all looked up at the clock ‘5:17’ it read. All eyes were on Tampa’s zone and once everyone stood up, not even three seconds later, the buzzer goes off and we see that Kane made the goal.
“That’s my baby!” Kat yelled, everyone celebrating and Chrissy getting excited in the process.
“Showtime!!!” Chrissy cheered, her little arms raised in the air as we all sang to the goal song.
It warmed Jamila’s heart that Christina was getting excited and getting so used to this wonderful and special moment. Especially seeing her dad, numerous of uncles in action on this special night. Nothing like this will ever top this moment. But once the guys were in the Hawks zone, Jamila was already on her feet. Looking at the defense and the way the opposing team would gather, it freaked her out more. Just 3:23 left on the clock. Once Corey made that one handed save, she breathed, sitting back down in her chair and covering her eyes instantly.
“Mommy, daddy did well. Its okay, no sad faces.” Chrissy told her mother, patting her back with a smile on her face and eating her hotdog.
Once it was just 5 seconds left on the clock, everyone was standing up, on their feet and counting down until the clock struck 00:00 and read FINAL. This is it. Hawks win! Hawks win it all in 4 games! Just – star struck, there were no sad faces in that crowd, well maybe with the Tampa fans, but they really don’t matter at this current moment. All the emotions that are running through every single fan right now are remarkable. Seeing the guys cheering and having a blast on the ice made the girl’s heart swell.
But there’s one thing for sure, practically everyone is getting laid tonight.
~~~ May 3rd, 2017; My POV ~~~

Today… it feels weird. The boys were eliminated after the first round, and I was… disappointed, we all were. Hell, when I got on twitter, there was trade Crawford, Kane, Keith etc. tweets all over the place. As a wife, it bothered me. It shouldn’t, but it really did. I hate when people treat my man like shit when he really isn’t all to blame for any of this crap. The guys all basically got ripped a new asshole after round one. But I’ve been taking Christina to home games for the Rangers because a bitch ain’t got time to be going to Canada. But I would in a heartbeat of their PM ever go to a game, you know??

Sarah and Scott got married shortly after the guys won the cup. It was a cute ceremony, they even had Lord Stanley there at the wedding as well. But now, times are going to be extremely difficult because of Scott being traded, all the girls are gonna have to find a way to get together with Sarah eventually. Kat and Patrick finally got married as well after the cup too and let me tell you, it was just ridiculous but in the best way possible. They should’ve had a double wedding.

Taylor had her daughter and named her Rachel. I understood the meaning behind the name, everyone did. We were all present during the birth, even the Kings made it, which was wild. Everyone started spewing out awful names, but Taylor and Dustin has already thought about her name once they found out the sex of their baby.

Ashley and Toews …. Oh man, when it was their day with the Cup, Toews proposed to her, it was so cheesy. He told her to look inside the Cup and her reaction was priceless. He got down on one knee, told her to look and boom, she screamed and cried in the process, we all knew he was gonna do it and when she called us, we knew it had happened.

As of now, they’ve been engaged for two years and it’s a wonderful feeling knowing that my best friends are all happy. It warms my heart every time and I never want this friendship to end.

I was currently in the bathroom. Just waiting and waiting for this stupid thing to finish. It was just 30 seconds left until it was. I looked down at the thing and I couldn’t help but cry. I knew I wasn’t going nuts. I’m just so happy – minus the crap the guys made up go through, I just hope this was the icing on the cake to make up for it all.

I walked out of the bathroom, just to find my friends, husband and daughter all looking at me.

“So?!” Kat exclaimed.

“Come on Jam!” Sarah groaned impatiently.

“Jams I swear, if you don’t say anything, I’m gonna slap you.” Ashley glared at me playfully.

“Baby boo, just say it!” Taylor grumbled.

Seeing her daughter Rachel and Christina playing together, it made my heart grow instantly. I’m so happy that Christina can finally get to have that.

“I’m pregnant!” I cheered out, watching as everyone got excited, Corey already walking over towards me and giving me the biggest hug ever.

“I love you so much.” Corey whispered as his lips touched mine softly.

“I love you too Corey, so, so much.” I cried, hugging my husband without hesitation.

.:*:'゜The End!!!  .:*°.

A/N: I know what y’all probably thinking, how tf you gonna end a chapter like that? Well bc bish I can. But don’t be discouraged! I’m going to be doing another story! Fresh and clean. I promise it won’t go back and forth like this one did when I started back in 2011. It’s gonna be a hockey fic from start to finish, I PROMISE! And the characters I start with are the characters I’m ending with. Not going to be adding any additional people because bruh that shit is exhausting. Hopefully, I’ll have the new story ready tomorrow! Thank you for this wonderful journey! I love you all! :’)

Round 1 - Game 3: / Part 4 of 23 /

◊◊ Corey’s POV; 2AM ◊◊

I’m finally home. I don’t know whether to be excited or relieved to finally be back at a place where I’m greatly appreciated.  And also I can probably pass up a lot of missing time, if you know what I mean. Before we had left Nashville, Joel pulled me aside and actually talked to me about what will be happening when we get back home to the United Center. I actually like the idea, so I had to literally listen to him for once. I mean I always do, but you know how things go. I guess. But anyway, before I could even enter into my house, I had to disarm the alarm before I give my wife and daughter a heart attack.

Entering my house with a sigh of relief, I placed my bags down next to the front door, closing the door quietly behind me and silently made my way upstairs. I know that Bella, our yorkie puppy, was upstairs sleeping in our bedroom because that’s apparently her sleeping area. Whatever, but anyway, I was happy that she didn’t come running down the steps when she heard the front door open, so that’s a sign that the bedroom door is closed. Walking up the steps, I stopped in front of the door and took a deep breath. It feels like I’ve been away for such a long time now, but it was a nervous experience for some reason. Opening the bedroom door I walked in to see that the television was currently on, Jamila leaning down on one side and Christina sleeping on her lap. I couldn’t help but smile at the current display that is right in front of me.

I saw that Bella was fast asleep on her doggy bed, so that made me happy, no unnecessary barking to be taken place. Quickly turning off the television, I stripped down into my boxers and slid into the bed. Causing Jamila to stir a bit and open her eyes slowly. Looking at me, Jamila couldn’t help but smile tiredly and reach over to give me a soft kiss on my lips.

“I’ve missed you.” Jamila said, her voice barley a whisper.

“I’ve missed you too. Now hush, before Chrissy wakes up.” I told her with a smile.

“Too late,” Christina piped up when she picked her head up with her huge smile, “Daddy you’re home!”

“Well it’s finally a family party.” Jamila chuckled at Christina’s happiness and Bella barking.

I was really avoiding trying to wake up the damn dog.

◊◊ Taylor’s POV; in Montreal, QB, CA ◊◊

I sighed heavily at the fact that I’m here in Montreal for tonight’s game. The last thing I ever wanted to do at this moment was take a flight when my feet are basically watermelon sizes at this very moment. Carey Price being my cousin-in-law and all, I am actually happy that I was able to even come to Montreal, since Dustin had to go home for some personal stuff, he told me to just go and enjoy myself at the game. Groaning while I entered the practice building, I walked into the rink area and stood in front of the glass. Waving my hand at everyone that skated by, that, randomly, caught Price’s attention. Carey took his helmet off as he skated to the benches, eyeing me like it’s been years since he last seen me or something.

“So you have a bun in the oven and couldn’t even tell me about it?”

Are you offended?

“I texted you. It was on Twitter, you follow me on twitter. Check that or your phone more.” I shrugged my shoulders casually, looking at Carey with innocent eyes.

That caused him to roll his eyes and sigh heavily at the fact that I’m not even giving him that loving cousin-in-law love that apparently I should be giving him. Oh well, that’s not my problem. While we continued to talk, my phone kept going off, rolling my eyes in the process and due to the fact that it was Kevin. Honestly, what the hell do you want man?

“Are you going to answer that?” Carey asked when my phone began to ring once again.

“Uh no. I have no time to try and sabotage my best friend’s marriage. So please, continue.” I said while putting my phone on silent.

I swear, this dude will not give up. Just fucking face it you idiot. Jamila is happy and Kevin trying to get in between them, just isn’t working. Nor will it work. I don’t even understand what he’s trying to accomplish here, but it’s funny if you ask me. I guess the whole ‘being friends with your exes’ thing really doesn’t apply to Kevin at all. I just want my cousin in law and the rest of the team to have a wonderful game, and for little bean to not make me run to the bathroom ever 5 minutes.

◊◊ My POV back in Chicago ◊◊

It’s almost 3 in the afternoon, everyone was at the Crawford household just relaxing before the guys had to leave for the arena in about an hour or so. Christina, being the little energetic child she is, was telling the guys how, while at daycare today, she played the goalie position while they played floor hockey at recess. It was a wonderful moment hearing about your own daughter talking about playing the position her own dad plays; you can practically see Corey’s face light up in the process.

“It was crazy daddy!” Christina said as she got down in the butterfly position “I stopped the ball and it hit me in the knee but I caught it just in time! And when Uncle Scott taught me to use my chest to block, it was great!”

“Uncle Scott?” I thought.

“You taught my daughter to use her chest?” Corey spoke up when looking over at his backup goalie.

At this moment, Scott just shrugged his shoulders causally while drinking some of his water. It was cute that my daughter would rather play goalie than the other positions, even though she has played them before when hanging out with the other team members’ kids, it was just a mysterious to me this child is.

“Honey, go wash up, you have to get ready for the game.” I told Christina, seeing her pout from the corner of my own eye. “Christina Sarah Crawford, no pouting or you’ll go to bed instead.” I warned her.

“Yes mommy.” She mumbled, waving at the guys as she made her way upstairs to her bedroom.

Myself and the girls all got up to head into the kitchen to have our ‘weekly gossip’ session because it seems like we never have these anymore since Taylor officially moved to LA and got pregnant. And it was usually her gossip we are usually looking forward to and that’s practically why we started all of this.

“Okay so, since we aren’t going to the game, for some unknown odd reason,” Kat said while grabbing a couple of wine glasses from my cabinet and also a wine bottle in the process “We might as well get this party started huh?”

How does she know where my stuff are though?!

“Kat how do you know where my wine is?” I asked curiously.

“I mean, it’s not like you don’t have a damn label on your cabinet that says ‘WINE’ or anything.” Kat rolled her eyes, causing all of the girls to look over at my obvious labeled wine section of my kitchen.

“Congratulations, you played yourself.” Said Ashley as she poured herself some wine, practically filling up her glass.

“Wow Ash, save some for the rest of the group?” Sarah rolled her eyes at Ashley while taking the wine bottle from her and pouring the rest of the girls’ glasses.

I, obviously nicely declining as I just went to grab a cherry cola from the fridge instead, but pouring the soda into the wine glass so I wouldn’t feel alone. Being sober is such a hassle, after going to rehab for almost overdosing on pills then for excessive drinking, it was an awful time for myself and my career at the time. Now that I’m a mother and I stay at home almost all of the time, drinking seems to be the less of my worries now.

I snapped out of my sudden daze when I heard Ashley bring up something very interesting and I casually sipped my soda extremely surprised.

“No way, you can’t be serious?!” Sarah explained, having a feeling that Ashley is just causing the same typical drama she did when it was basically myself, Corey and Kevin.

“No I’m serious, the signs are all there!” Ashley said defensively.

“I mean, I have to agree with Ashley, he’s been super flirty with you lately and it’s quite sad that he’s doing it in front of Kris.” Kat piped in.

I guess it was my turn to say something, but honestly when it comes to me, signs are something that I suck at. Hell, I gave three guys mixed signals for goodness sake. “I uh, I’m married so don’t look at me.” I muttered, drinking more of my soda so that I wouldn’t get into the middle of all of this.

“Why do you think Darling likes me? Kris and I have been together for a very long time now. I barley know him.” Sarah rolled her eyes, causing all of the girls, even myself to gasp; more shocked than ever.

“You like him!” I seethed quietly watching as Christina came downstairs in her pajamas and her dad’s jersey.

“Daddy, I hope you guys have a nice game!” Christina explained when the guys began to gather their belongings.

The guys walked over to us, giving their respected ladies a kiss and then said their goodbyes. You can tell how meh Darling got when Sarah and Kris began kissing each other. It was funny, but I couldn’t laugh. But I mean I did anyway, lowkey though. Doing the typically “We Are!” then “Blackhawks!” chant, Christina would do before they would head off to the ice. What? I went to Penn State, it was practically a daily chant.

“Christina go ahead and watch television for a while before the game starts okay?” Ashley asked kindly, getting a ‘Yes Auntie Ashley’ respond in return, then turned all of our attention back at hand.

At this moment, Sarah had taken her phone out to show us the text messages her and Scott would send back and forth for the last….3 months and a half!?!? Oh yeah ‘I barley know him’ my ass.

Scott: I hope you liked the flowers I sent you today.

Sarah: Wait that was you?? Kris was extremely suspicious, you can’t do that…

Scott: Okay, but I really don’t care about him at this moment. Did you like the flowers?

Sarah: I loved them, thank you. But honestly Scott, we have to cool it a bit. The last thing I need is my friends finding out. I don’t want to be the next ‘Jammy’ of the group-

“Whoa whoa!” I stopped Sarah midsentence when I heard my name, “Y’all have a thing called ‘the next Jammy’?!” I looked at my friends a bit confused but more offended than ever.

“Jams, I really don’t think we have to explain that one to you.” Kat said in returned, causing me to throw a grape at her.

“Y’all are frauds.” I muttered just as Sarah locked her phone and put it away.

“Okay so what does that mean?” Ashley questioned when Sarah stopped reading the messages.

“It means, we’ve been sort of… secretly seeing each other a while now. But you know, it was bound to happen. Kris got boring.” Sarah frowned deeply.

“Okay well, I’m not gonna judge, because I practically slept with half of the damn team apparently, but Sarah you do what you do. Just don’t call me when you get caught. Actually yes, please do call me because I have to hear all of this out.” I grinned casually, getting up from the stool in the kitchen and made my way to the living room.

Christina is at an age that she sometimes knows why her dad isn’t playing and why he is. I honestly thought I was gonna have to explain it today but I didn’t, thank goodness. I asked her quietly if her dad had giving her medication before his departure from the game and when she said yes, I smiled and gave my daughter a kiss on the forehead.

“Guys the game is about to start!” I called out, stretching out a bit and getting comfortable on my couch.

“Come on Bella!” Christina screeched excitedly while taking ahold of the small Yorkie and began bouncing in her seat.

◊◊ Corey’s POV; After the Game ◊◊

It was one of those games where I was very happy that I didn’t play. Don’t get me wrong, Darling did extremely well tonight, chances are, I’ll be hearing about this from Jamila later on, mostly because when at home and we suffer tough losses, she awkwardly becomes a supportive coach to me rather than a supportive wife. It’s funny yet awkward in all difference ways. When the game was finally over, everyone was wrapping up the last minute press and locker cleanup. I looked over at the last guys remaining; Kane, Darling, Versteeg, Toews and Hossa. It was usually Hossa to be the last one to leave, but Shaw had to be the first one to leave because he promised Amy that he was going to pick her up after her last night class. As the rest of the guys began to leave, I gathered up my materials until Scott stopped me before I could walk out of the dressing room.

“Hey, can I ask you something?” Scott asked when everyone has officially cleared out.

I hope this wasn’t his work as a goalie, oh man would I become my wife for a second and roast him. “Yeah sure what’s up?” Is what I ended up saying anyway.

“How close are Sarah and Jamila?” He asked curiously, for some off reason, looking more nervous than anything else.

◊◊ My POV ◊◊

I hated the fact that when Corey would come home, he would always disrupt Chrissy in her sleep. Half of the time, I don’t even think she’s even asleep; waiting up to see her dad is something she’s been doing ever since she turned one years old. It seems as if she had finally fallen asleep because when he walked into the room, he took a long and deep breath before looking over at me. I, myself, giving him a casual wave in the process.

“Why does she have so much energy at her age?” Corey groaned as he face planted the bed, but mostly onto my lap.

Round 1 - Game 2; // Part 3 of 23 //

~~~~ Kat’s POV; in Chicago ~~~~
“Okay first of all, Kevin and Jamila only had sex like twice and then her and Corey bump and grind 24/7 when they officially got together. So there’s no way in hell that Christina is Kevin’s.” Sarah spoke, shaking her head knowing that this is absolute bullshit.
“Listen, if my OTP gets together and Christina is actually Kevin’s, I would like to-”
“Shut up Ashley!” Everyone, even Taylor shouted.
“Rude asses.” Ashley mumbled.
“Did you even know if he’s just doing this to get back with Jamila?” I asked Taylor.
“I don’t know, but, I swear to god, if he is, I’ll kill him myself!” Taylor whispered quietly.
“You and me both.” Sarah rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest.
~~~~ My POV; in New York ~~~~

I was currently on skype with Corey after the game at MSG. I’m happy that he’s resting finally after that… horrendous first period at game 1, but I was glad that he officially calmed himself and knew that he’ll be better next time. Christina had already fallen asleep a few minutes after we had come home and told me to tell daddy she said hi. It was cute because my dad decided to read her an old bedtime story he read to me all the time when I was her age.

“How was the game?” Corey asked me while he tried to adjust his laptop.’’

“It was…. Eventful. The ‘Game 2 Curse’ is actually very real because it was an awkward lost. But that wasn’t what made it eventful,” I told Corey, causing him to raise his eyebrow “I saw Heather.”

“Whoa,” He looked at me with wide eyes “I’m surprised you’re not calling me from central booking.”

“That’s not funny,” I glared “But it was…. Nice? I mean we talked during intermission, caught up on some stuff, told her it was nice kicking her ass at WrestleMania. All while Christina was playing with Stepan.” I shrugged my shoulders, drinking some more of my tea.

“Listen, just be glad that you guys had fun… minus the lost. But you get what I mean.” Corey grinned.

“Oh by the way, how was it sitting from the bench and watching?” I smiled casually.

***

“Oh do you have to go?” Victoria pouted while my dad started putting our bags into the car.

“Yeah I have to go, I have to make sure my house is still intact. Sarah has a key, so I have to make sure all of my stuff is there.” I told my step-mother, resting my head on her shoulder as I sighed heavily.

“I hate plane rides.” Christina grumbled.

“Christina Sarah, what did I tell you about that word?” I looked at her sternly, seeing that she was now hiding her face behind Amy.

“You said that all the time at her age though.” Victoria piped in.

“Shut up, Vicky,” I rolled my eyes, giving her a huge hug before getting into my dad’s car.

I was so happy when he decided it would be a good idea to not use a cab. I hated cabbies. I don’t know what it was, but it makes me upset knowing that I had to go back on the damn plane for god knows how many hours back home. The real question is, is my house still in one piece. That is the real question.

~~~ Taylor’s POV ~~~
“Okay so, repeat the story again? How are you going to win Jamila back with this?” I looked at Kevin with a stern, yet unfocused face.
I really don’t get the point as to why Kevin is doing this. Jamila is obviously happy with her family and he just doing all of this just shows that he’s mental. Mental isn’t even the word now, this idiot is just downright crazy as hell.
“I am going to call Jamila, tell her that I think that something just isn’t right. Then I’m going to say that I think Christina is mine. We go on Maury, and this whole thing live and boom, I get to say that Chrissy is mine; her and Crawford break up, she comes running back to me and then we’ll be together again.” Kevin explained, making me look at him with a shocked expression.
“Whoa, pause, who the hell ever mentioned Maury? Do you want to ruin her life or embarrass her? Because you’re obviously doing both.”
“I just want her back.” Kevin muttered quietly, causing me to roll my eyes.
“You’re a sad human being and really need to move the hell on. Don’t you have a girlfriend?!” I explained.
“Yeah, but I can always dump her.”
“Babe, is it time for my nap!?” I called out, hoping to God that he’ll say yes.
“Yeah, in about 5 minutes!” He responded from the kitchen.
“Oh, well Kevin. It looks like you have to go. Never come back now, ya’ hear?” I smiled, walking him out through the front door and shutting the door behind him.
This guy is fucking nuts. I’m still trying to figure out how he knew where I live.
~~~ Corey’s POV; In Nashville – Game 2 ~~~

“Alright, that’s babe. Tell everyone the guys and myself all said hi. Okay, I love you too. Bye honey.”

Game 2 is close to starting and it feels weird being here in Nashville again, but this time, I’m not starting. I had to explain to Christina right before the practice why I was pulled the last game. For a three year old, she’s starting to understand more and more about why I’m not starting and why certain things happen. It’s a buzzkill telling her no, but she’s going to learn someday. Being the nice parent turned out to be the hardest thing ever. I can see why Jamila is more of the tough love kind of parent.

Suiting up for the game – I was a bit nervous because of my terrible performance at game one, but maybe there’s a chance I might improve a lot. Thank god I deleted my twitter.

***

I was wrong. It’s now the third period and we are down 4 points. I don’t know how difficult this can get. I know for fucking fact that I will not be starting the next game. When the buzzer rang for the end of the game, I quickly skated over to the bench and went through the doors for the locker room. Keeping to myself, I stayed quiet and just got myself dressed. This isn’t what I wanted. This is not what anyone wanted. I obviously failed everyone in this locker room and all the fans watching.

~~~ My POV; after the game in Chicago ~~~
“Mommy, that was bad.” Christina frowned while she hugged her teddy bear that Kat had given her for her first birthday.
“Yeah honey… but in a few days, it’ll be a new game and everything. We get to finally go to a hockey with daddy.” I smiled, hopefully she’ll at least cheer up after that horrific loss.
All Christina did was shrug her shoulders and got off of the couch and went upstairs. Sighing heavily, I rested my head on Ashley’s shoulder and watched my daughter disappear up the steps.
“She’s growing up so fast.” I whimpered, faking wiping the tears from my eyes.
“I think she’ll be fine. Next thing you know, she’s going to hockey games with her boyfriend, cheering Corey on and cursing every time a bad call is being made.” Kat spoke, causing me to roll my eyes a bit.
“She’s not going to be dating. Christina can’t even hang out with the little boy from down the street without freaking out.” I told Kat.
“That’s a sigh. Chrissy isn’t going to be dating for a really long time.” Sarah smiled, most likely thanking god at this point, for no apparent reason.
I sighed thinking that she’ll be dating in about 13 years and I will have to give her the sex talk. Oh god, my parents didn’t prepare me for this. Looking over at the time, I asked the girls if they would be able to stay over. Mostly because knowing the guys, they would all be coming here anyway for a good home cooked meal. I don’t mind at all. I love cooking for everyone. It made me happy realizing that they actually appreciate my cooking, those asses.
The girls decided to just sleep downstairs, mostly because they were too lazy and tried to go upstairs and sleep. I had to go upstairs to get blankets, pillows and to also check up on Christina before going to bed, since I’m sleeping downstairs with them.
Entering Christina’s room, I peeked my head inside to see if she was asleep, but to find out that she was awake and on her iPad. I rolled my eyes and stepped inside the room and turned the lights on.
“Christina Sarah Crawford, why are you awake?” I asked her, dropping the pillows and blankets on the floor.
“I can’t sleep mommy. And I know Auntie Sarah, Ashley and Kat are sleeping over… but I never get invited to those sleepovers.” Christina frowned when she placed her iPad on the bed.
“Oh honey… Why didn’t you say anything? You know you’re always invited to sleepovers with us.” I reassured her, moving her hair behind her ear “Okay how about this, you can bring your pillow and blanket and you can sleep next to me. Does that make you feel better?”
“Yes,” Christina exclaimed, getting up from her bed and gathering all of the materials she needed and left the room. But came back in seconds later “Come on mommy! We’re going to miss the sleepover!”
I laughed at her excitement, getting up from the bed and picking back up the pillows and blankets from off the floor, turning the lights off and walking out of the bedroom. Going downstairs with Christina, I told the girls that have one more addition to the sleepover, causing them to get excited and patting a spot for Christina on the couch. This makes me sad because this will be the last sleep over till the guys are away on the road again. I always love these girls, no matter what.
Author’s Note: Hello lovely humans, as you may know, I have started college. And right now, I decided, with the help of Bubbles, to go back to 23 parts instead of doing 28. It took me forever to finish this part 3 for some reason so I deeply apologize for the very long wait!!
Round 1 - Game 2 (Rangers) // Part 2 - 28
~~~ Taylor’s POV; in Los Angeles ~~~

It was a little after 3 in the afternoon, I had just came back from my appointment, I am actually surprised I even got up this morning due to the fact that the hawks kept me up at such an ungodly hour… even though the game ended around 8 my time if you think about it. But I don’t know, I was still mad, at least I was able to joke about Crawford being pulled without Jamila trying to kill me or anything. The guys were upstairs working on the nursery and I was downstairs in the living room catching up on my stories, and my stories, and my stories, I mean Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta.

“Maybe I should be the Puerto Rican Princess, but god, never mind.” I rolled my eyes slightly as I popped another grape into my mouth.

I don’t know what it is, but when Jammy was pregnant, all she did was grub on grapes. And now I can’t stop eating grapes… shit’s gross. But anyway, as I was watching TV, the doorbell suddenly rang. I shouted out that I got it and approached the front door minutes later. Just a thought, I really should have looked through the window or the peephole.

“Kevin?” I looked at him shockingly.

Vancouver is just a tad bit north buddy… what the hell?

~~~ My POV; in New York ~~~
Today was the day of the Rangers home game. Game 2 to be exact against Pittsburgh. I told Corey that Amy, Christina and I were all taking the trip to New York to see the Rangers play at home. I’ve been told about the ‘Game 2 Curse’ with them, but I didn’t want to believe it. I am naïve so to speak so I mean, it just wasn’t working for me at all. I was thankful that my dad was allowing us to stay at their house since my apartment is Brooklyn was turned into a crack house a few years ago.
While we were getting our stuff from the baggage claims, looked around the airport, seeing all the people rushing with their briefcase and suitcases, probably trying to catch the last minute flights and whatnot, really shows how much I missed New York. Christina on the other hand, was not enjoying the airport at all, all she could do was stand close to me and cover her ears, and hide her face. I was an idiot for taking her noise canceling headphones away from her when we got off the plane.
“Mommy can we go home now please?” Christina whimpered, looked up at Amy and myself.
“Yes, honey, we’re leaving now. We need to get a taxi first.” I told her as I took one of her hands and our bags in the other.
“I can’t believe you used to live here….” Amy muttered; looking over the place and gagging in the process.
“I never lived in JFK Airport, I lived in Brooklyn, thank you.” I grinned.
Amy just rolled her eyes at my comment and walked out of the airport to hall a taxi. I stood next to Christina and tried to calm her down since she was still overwhelmed with everything.
***
When we arrived at my dad’s condo, I paid the taxi driver and got out of the car – grabbing our luggage in the process. As we walked to the front door, I rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer the door. All we heard from behind the door was barking and yelling. Victoria. The door suddenly opened and I looked up to see Victoria, looking young as ever. I don’t get how she never ages… it bothers me.
“Grandma Vee!” Christina shouted, hugging Victoria’s leg.
“Hey pumpkin! Jamila! Oh my goodness, you’ve grown.” Victoria gasped as she pointed at my boobs.
I rolled my eyes and told her to move to the side because these bags are extremely heavy. “Listen, this is what happens when she is in my stomach for more than 9 months. Practically almost killed me.”
“At least she’s here and healthy!” Amy spoke up.
“Oh who’s this?” Victoria asked curiously when she looked at Amy.
“I’m Amy. Corey’s cousin.” She introduced herself, holding her hand out for her to shake.
“Oh you’re the Amy! I remember you at the wedding, honey, we’re family, come in for a hug.” Victoria hugged Amy; laughing in the process.
Christina had went upstairs a few minutes ago to put her stuff away like I told her to. Even after I asked, Victoria told me that my room is still the same after I left it when Bieksa was here. That’s extremely weird and awkward because you would have thought they would have done something to my room already, but I guess not. I just hope all of those stuff from Bieksa are gone. I have no time to explain everything to Christina. I never have time to explain anything to Christina.
I had texted Corey telling him that we’ve landed and arrived at my dad’s place safely and that we’ll be on our way to MSG in a few hours. I’m exactly excited to see the guys today because it’s been forever and Christina has been dying to see Stepan for the longest while and I really can’t keep her waiting. Child is extremely impatient. God knows where she gets that from.
Amy, Christina, Victoria and myself were all sitting in the living room, me with a cup of mint tea of course and just catching up on a few things. It feels great that I have a wonderful relationship with my mother-in-law after all of the drama that happened in my teen years. It just feels great to come back home with open arms and nothing less.
“Victoria who was knocking on the do--”
“Dad!” I screeched, putting my tea on the coffee table and went over to hug him.
“Oh lord, I knew I heard trouble,” My dad laughed while returning the hug.
“Listen, I’m a wonderful adult now.” I glared at him playfully.
“Hi grandpa.” Christina waved her hand nervously.
Christina was still getting used to my dad, due to the fact that during the wedding party, my dad disappeared after the father daughter dance and went somewhere else. It was disappointing if you ask me, I don’t know why he did it, but he sure as hell got a terrible reaction from my mother. And yes, my birth mother was at my wedding. I couldn’t let her miss that. It was more of an ‘I’m sorry you missed the birth of your first grandchild’ kind of thing.
***
It was a little after 5 in the afternoon, just 2 hours till game time and we were already settled into the box seats. I was happy that AV hooked us up with these seats. God bless his soul. Amy, Christina, Victoria, my dad, and I were all relaxing in the booth till I got a text from St. Louis.
“Hey, whenever you’re ready, you and the little one can come in now, everyone is dressed (:.”
I replied saying that I’ll be there in a few minutes and told Christina that we need to go get some food. She really wasn’t that clever because we had already gotten food, but with her Stepan jersey on, I was going to surprise her.
“Mommy, are we backstage?” She looked up at me with a curious look when she noticed the posters and the trophies.
“Why yes honey, we are. I have a surprise for you.” I smiled, knocking on the door to the Rangers locker room and her mouth dropped.
When coach AV opened the door, Christina gasped and covered her mouth while running into the room and everyone casually laughed at her while I stood at the entrance. All she did was stood there and looked around and stopped when she saw Derek and ran up to him.
“I am wearing your jersey,” Christina whispered “But don’t tell daddy, he’ll get mad.”
Derek simply laughed at Christina in a friendly way, reaching out to give her a hug and said thank you for coming. She looked over at me and smiled signaling me to come in.
“Whose jersey are you wearing mommy?” She asked curiously while looking behind me.
“St. Louis’ honey.” I nodded my head towards his stall.
“You score for mommy okay? And you score for me!” She smiled, clapping her hands together as she shouted Showtime. Poor thing.
After hanging out with the guys for a few minutes, Christina and I exited the locker room to head back to our seats, I was trying to talk to my daughter when I suddenly bumped into someone.
“Oh, I’m sor-”
“Shit sorry – oh my god….” I stopped, looking up to see Heather “What are you doing here?”
“My husband and half-brother have a game tonight.” She smiled, placing her hand on her hips.
I just looked at her a bit confused because I didn’t know the bitch was married to begin with, nor did she have a half-brother.
“Malkin my husband and Sidney my half-brother.” Heather responded when she noticed my confusing look.
“Mommy can we go?” Christina looked at me and glared at Heather. I rolled my eyes at the fact that she rolled her eyes at Heather.
“Yeah honey hold on. Um… we’ll talk after the game yeah?” I smiled slightly at Heather and took Christina had to go back to our original area.
That was weird.
~~~ Kat’s POV ~~~

“Jammy told me that she ran into Heather at the Rangers game!” I shouted since Ashley and Sarah were both in the living room watching TV.

“Holy shit that must have been awkward as hell?” Ashley thought.

“I would have walked passed her and not say anything at all.’” Sarah responded.

Since everyone is out and about, their boyfriends and my husband being in Nashville still and our usual hangout spot being Jamila’s house, we had nothing else to do but still at Sarah’s house. She does have the second largest house. Fucking hell.

“Listen, I’m glad we’re home. I don’t have to deal with the drama. What if there’s a huge fight?” Sarah laughed, eating another chip as I walked back into the living room.

“Like hockey wise or Heather and Jammy wise?” I asked curiously.

“Both!” Ashley shouted.

Resuming the movie that we were trying to finish watch after so long – we’ve been pausing and playing the movie all day because so much stuff was causing us to do that with the movie, it was quite annoying. But at least we were finally being able to watch it. But just then, someone’s phone started going off and it caused all of us to groan.

Ashley said that it was her phone that was ringing and answered it, putting the phone on speaker, “Yes Taylor?”

“Okay listen, I’m in my bathroom and guess who’s here!”

“Who?” We all responded.

“Kevin! He has this awkward idea that Christina is his baby.”

“NO!” Sarah and I yelled into the phone.

“JEVIN IS COMING BACK BITCHES!” Ashley shouted in excitement.

Oh god… here we go…
